(rambling about Arin, Dragons Rising Spoilers).
Despite it being only 1 day since Dragons Rising came out, I'm honestly surprised no one has talked about Arin properly.
It's shown so many times that despite him training with Lloyd and becoming a ninja, he still longs to be with his parents and family.
But he also wants to do good in the world, he wants to help people, and his dialogue with the ITPF is so fucking heartbreaking.
For a moment he thought he saw himself in those kids, people who want to help and do good for the world but it all comes crashing down when they say that they also want to join the Imperium claws to hunt dragons.
He literally says he feels seen for crying out loud.
God, just... This poor kid, he probably had to grow up all alone for a while until he met Sora, he deserves so much better.
And the fact that he says that Lloyd probably won't need him now that some of the ninja are back-
Gaaaah it actually breaks my heart...
