Why does Alan keep duplicating stick figures?

now I get it, its some gag or something, or to show off more fighting scenes with even more characters. But Alan has done this "duplicating sticks" thing pretty much almost 5 times.

why?

Don't get me wrong I love when sticks get duplicated! Showing off their teamwork and fighting combat is cool!! >_<....

though its happening a lot now, for no apparent reason.

first it appeared in AvA1, with victim cloning himself. He does this is a weird way, none which I've seen the others do. He pulls himself out of his files icon(?) physically and boom, alive clones! who shakes victims hand. The fandom likes to make these clones all have their own personalities and names, since they act pretty different from eachother and have each of their own weapons.

Second was with Purple in L.O.L. In Purples very cool cloning spread (yes im going to call it a clone spread). It shows later on that Purple wasnt really there after all, but rather controlling their clones. Purple also mightve made the clones beforehand with code. [So not physically].

Third was in the exact same episode with T.S.C at the ending. TSC clones themselves same dramatic way Purple did. Clone spread..

Fourth way was in AvA 10... In The Box, where victim tortures Chosen for information. He clones himself again, second time hes done this! Victim sure loves cloning himself...

Though, not physically, since he isnt controlling anything in the box, but just Agent. He orders Agent to clone him. (I find it interesting how all stick figures communicate with body language. I also find it interesting with how aggressive victims body language is). Four extra clones... wonder why he can't make a whole ahh army atp. Agent brings them in by copying victim on his panel.

Fifth time was recently with Greenscreen. (Thats what everyone is calling him)... he duplicates him with a button in Adobe. Nothing really interesting about this, though I will look more into this after.

Alan really loves duplicating his sticks, huh.

Though is there a difference between some of these clones? Most interesting clones were victims, as he physically pulls them out of himself. Not with code, not with a button but just pulling them like real beings. Is there a difference between clones and duplicates? how one side might sentient while the other is simply a copy of their original?

All the clones we've ever seen are only shown... fighting.

That brings us to the real question: can clones/duplicates ever have sentience? Can they be different from their originals? Where do they pull the line at control of free will at?

Ik they’ve been doing it their whole lives but it amazes me how well harry can lie. Like even when he said on stage ‘it’s about the female orgasm’ about WMS and was giggling n shit seems so genuine but obv it’s not

bro Harry has skated around denying larry for since larry existed. his “denials” have been very “uhhhh ummmm i…” and never flat out denying it. He’s a terrible liar and I know with the whole sweet creature interview like “oh I don’t wanna tell people they’re wrong but I’d lean towards no” is him trying to be neutral because he is really bad at denials and lying but also understands that a big part of his fanbase is Larries.

However… a bigger part of louis’ fanbase is Larries. But louis’ been doing these shitty half assed denials for years. They had Harry do like a few on his own, one in which he didn’t even really say anything and Liam jumped in. He’s an awful liar and always has been because he’s too giggly and shy amd yeah… louis has copped it and he’s used to it, but I understand what you’re saying. And louis 100% copped it because he’s older, and has that awful relationship weird chats with SC, and Harry is his baby and can’t lie for shit.

BUT neither of them have ever said “no, im not dating the other person”, they dance around that. You can put it down to marketing and being elusive enough to not say a blanket no to keep us on board, but if they truly weren’t dating, they would t have addressed it.

Louis’ image and bbg and everything… it leaves him more room to “deny”. Whereas Harry is in a glass closet, and it’s in his best interest to skate around it so his sexuality can still be vague and a bit more open. If louis was to be as vague as Harry; it would be a massive impact on his image.

Larry has always been the biggest ship. BUT ziam particularly was huuuuuge also, the second biggest ship in the fandom at a point, and they never addressed it. Ya know? It’s such an interesting comparison!

Sorry this went off topic (maybe?? Idk) I’ve had a bunch of drinks with the crew tonight so that’s not helpful BUT im back from tour tomorrow so I’ll be more helpful I can imagine hahahahaha but I hope this comes across clear enough. Look up Harry denials on YouTube, you only come across larry denial compilations because Harry’s barely done it, and it’s always so fucking weird.

A clarification

So one thing I have noticed is that some Curious Archer shippers and fans of Knight Rook hold an assumption that because I like Nook/Wish!Hook and his daughter, I am clearly a fan of CS.  I just wanted to clear something up because this couldn’t be further from the truth.  

I am pretty adamant about my dislike of Season 3-6 Hook (and by extension CS), because for me the show failed to redeem him, instead merely waved a magic wand over fun villain Hook and expected the audience to forget we’d never dealt with stuff and changed other characters to support the narrative that Hook was always a hero. I tag my anti stuff fairly religiously so if you’re here for CA or KR and happen to be a CS fan, you’ll be able to blacklist it.   However I understand if people would rather not follow me because of my CS opinions.  I get it, I really do.  

Nook/Wish! Hook/Rogers what ever you want to call him has such a special place in my heart because I finally get to see a full redemption, over the course of years, that involves Hook making sacrifices and changing to try and be the best possible role model for his daughter.  Knight Rook is a relationship that shows how far he comes.  He was willing to turn Baelfire, Milah’s son, who they had talked about raising together, over to a demon for revenge.   And yet he is willing to give up everything to raise Alice.   

Also, Alice is the light of my life and I would love her regardless of who her parents are.   I mean, Zelena literally makes my stomach crawl, and I will protect Robin with all my heart

Aww Jon, you matched outfits with Edd, Tom and Matt?! That's so cute!! How was that?

Jon: Ohh, I had a lot of fun with them! I mean... I was a bit nervous. Tom asked me to join them, since their fourth housemate doesn't do parties apparently.

But I do like the Ghostbusters! Just the movies, however... Though Edd said he'd watch the cartoon with me if I wanted to. Matt seemed really enthusiastic about it too. I think I wouldn't mind being closer friends with those 2, Edd isn't as bad as I thought. Erm, I mean, so far at least.....

Do any of you guys besides Mark have the talent/ability to cook? If so, how well?

Eduardo: I'm definitely not terrible at cooking. I got a few recipes up my sleeve-

Mark: Oh, you absolutely know what you're doing in the kitchen~. You've got skill, love, you just need to use it more often. Unless it involves the oven..

Eduardo: Right. I don't do baking, none of that. It frustrates me to no end.

Jon: Perhaps could it be because of that one bake off competition you and Edd were both in?

Eduardo: ....... Listen I don't have the time or patience to sit around and wait for somethin' to be done and follow all those teeny tiny little steps just to make friggin' cupcakes that I don't even wanna spend the time decorating.

Jon: That's the kind of stuff I do love! I grew up with homemade sweets. I love finding all sorts of different recipes to follow and then decorating it the way I want to, it's very peaceful to me :). I'd love to cook supper one time... I know Matt's a good cook, but I don't think we're close enough to ask him to teach me.

Mark: I could teach yoooou! :D.

Jon: Mmm.. I'll stick to what I know for now!
