[ x ] think you’re …a loser. You can be cool, but it’s rare as hell and most of the time you’re just the biggest loser. I mean just so huuuuugeee of a loser.
11: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I’d like to live outside the country, but I’m too poor. So a small city that has shit to do?

Ye, but I’m taking a break this semester.
15: Are you the oldest child or the youngest?
I’m an only child.
17: Who's your favorite singer/band?

All my crushes right now are fictional characters.

Crap. I have a tags page with that, so there. Haha...

The only NOTP that actually gets me pissed off is RinHaru. The rest, I don’t care.
25: Have you ever met a celebrity before?
Ah, no.
27: What is your favorite movie?
I really like Anastasia because of fucking Dimitri. Star Wars is up there as well, specifically Revenge of the Sith. I like watching Anakin fuck up.

My dogs, definitely.
35: Who's the last person you hugged?
Mom.
37: Tell us an embarrassing story
In high school, one of my English teachers told us to do paper on any topic of our choosing. I really liked reading true crime books in high school and I decided to do it on Jack the Ripper because why the fuck not. She didn’t tell us we had to present until a before it was due. So uuhhh...I presented the thing....with all the crime scene photos...and everyone in that class was scared of me after that. Not that I cared, none of my friends were in that class, soo..
39: Do you want to be famous?
Hell no. I wouldn’t want to struggle just to get some toothpaste because of paparazzi. Just no.

Ahahaha I have no idea.

At the moment, Adam Silvera. He wrote a book that really fucking crushed my heart and I’m not done feeling like shit. Kelley York is another one because she writes gay thrillers.
47: Describe your ideal partner.
I’m terrible at answering this question so I’m gonna wing it. Someone that can be straightforward with me and isn’t afraid to call me out on stuff. I’m attracted to people that playfully tease me for some reason. I dunno.
49: How many pillows do you sleep with?
Well, I had five. I lost all of them somewhere in my room so now I have two.

My room.

Dos.

This is a scene @smallcaesar and I talked about in what was a... lengthy discussion of a Lawlight Hogwarts AU. So, here's a ficlet of sorts.
Requisite background info: Light and his mother are Slytherins, his father and sister are Gryffindors, and L is a Ravenclaw. Light's a pure blood. I can make a headcanon post for people if they want one, but that should be all you really need.
Light strode into the party like a returning prince, eyes skimming over the crowd with disinterest. His confidence faltered when he saw L—dressed up and hair brushed, but definitely L—speaking with one of the older pure bloods in the room. Light felt like he was going to have a heart attack, fighting down his urge to run over and drag him away.
At society gatherings, one must always be on their best behavior.
Light strolled across the room, remaining nonchalant as he spoke with the people who stopped him on his way. When L caught sight of him, he beamed like an idiot, playing his hand in front of a room of card sharks. Eyes fell on them with sharp interest.
“Light, what a pleasure to see you here,” L said, still smiling. Light’s heart fluttered at the sight. He longed to hug him and give him a quick kiss, but this was no place for sentiment.
“Walk with me, would you, Lawliet?” Light nodded his head toward the host’s extravagant garden.
L seemed hurt by his coldness, but the reasoning seemed to occur to him as they walked. When they were in the relative privacy of the garden, Light cast a silencing charm on the space around them and spun around.
“What are you doing here, L?” Light glanced around, checking for witnesses.
“I missed you, and I’m tired of pretending we don’t like each other in public. You’re my boyfriend. Is it really wrong of me to want to keep you to myself, instead of sharing you with girls who want to marry you?” L leaned into his space, eyes hooded and lips slanted in a cute smile.
Light longed to lean in and kiss him breathless, but he couldn’t. His mother was here!
“This is really not the best place to have chosen, L. You couldn’t have found me at, I don’t know, a restaurant? Out shopping?” Light felt overwhelmed, like he could fly apart at the seams.
“I could have, but there aren’t usually girls trying to marry you when you’re doing normal things. Besides, I wanted to meet your family. You and I both know that you weren’t planning on making the introductions.”
“I would have,” Light protested, but the sound was weak even to his own ears. He closed his eyes to avoid seeing L’s disbelief. Of course he was going to make everything complicated. L lived to make Light’s life difficult, it seemed. (Light didn’t really want him any other way.)
“Okay, fine, since you’re here, we’ll make the rounds. No one from school will believe that we’re actually friends, by the way.”
“Do you often speak at length with enemies from school at these things?”
“I would, if I had enemies that weren’t you,” Light said, turning back to the house and taking a bracing breath. “You’re going to be the death of me.”
“Don’t be melodramatic. It’ll be fine.”
Light shot him a disbelieving look, shaking his head. He’d learn.
“Oh, my, Light, who’s this?” Sachiko asked, pressing a hand to her cheek.
“Mother, this is L Lawliet, one of my classmates.” L shot him a look that Light steadily ignored. L underestimated his mother.
“Oh, I’ve heard quite a bit about you from my son! It’s a pleasure to finally meet you. I was wondering when he was going to introduce us,” she sighed. “I’m so sorry if my son has caused you any trouble.”
“No, of course not, Mrs. Yagami,” L assured her, looking slightly confused now.
Before Sachiko could continue with what could become a polite interrogation, she noticed someone over their shoulders and beamed. “Soichiro, come meet Light’s classmate!”
Light frowned at her, but his mother just smiled at them both, obviously content.
“Darling,” Soichiro greeted, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “Sorry, I’m late. I was held up at work again. Afternoon, Light.”
“Good afternoon, Father. Lawliet, this is my father. Father, this is L Lawliet, one of my classmates.”
Soichiro shook L’s hand, “Nice to meet you. You must be new to this circle; Light doesn’t usually introduce us to his classmates.”
“Normally their parents take care of that,” Sachiko agreed with a mild smile.
“Oh, well that’s easily explained then,” L said, voice pleasant. Light braced himself. “I’m an orphan, so I don’t have anyone to show me around.”
Sachiko gasped. “Oh, you poor dear.”
“Please don’t looks so upset, ma’am. My parents died when I was very small. I don’t really remember them or know much about them. My caretaker has been more than adequate, so it’s been a long time since I felt like I was missing anything.”
Light understood L’s plan suddenly and all at once. The audacity and brilliance of his scheme was enough to be almost unbelievable. The minute they were somewhere private, Light was going to kiss the hell out of him. Light kept his eyes on his family, avoiding looking at L—he was far too attractive when he was showing off.
His plan went off without a hitch.
Every person Light introduced L to reacted with immediate sympathy at the orphan card, and no one had the guts to ask for the names of L’s parents, all assuming that his last name was that of his caretaker. (It wasn’t.)
As an orphan, no one would be able to ask after his parentage and pedigree without committing a major social faux pas. It was obvious to anyone with half a brain that L Lawliet was muggle-born, but no one could do anything about it.
Light was dating a genius. He stifled a sigh, eyeing him with subtle longing. The party seemed even longer than usual, though he was remarkably girl free.
While L was rubbing elbows with the purest of pure bloods, Sachiko cornered Light and cast a silencing charm around them, both eyebrows raised. Light stood up straighter.
“Your friend is certainly something,” Sachiko said, smiling.
Light nodded, glancing over at L.
“That’s what I thought. If anyone speaks ill of him… Well, I’m sure I don’t need to explain it to you.” Sachiko tapped her chin. “A muggle-born at a pure blood garden party… I like his confidence, Light. You chose a good one.”
“What?” Light blinked. His mother canceled the spell.
“Why don’t the two of you head out? You’ve stayed much longer than usual.” Sachiko hummed to herself as she walked away, finding her husband in the crowd. Light stared after her in amazement.
She wasn’t his mother for nothing.
L pressed against his side briefly, “What’s happened?”
“We have permission to leave, and I’m taking it.” Light shot him a look, making his intentions clear. A small smile spread across L’s face.
