     she’s always took a natural liking to children. if she had listened to her mother to let med school go and take up something more conventional like TEACHING, she could have EXCELLED.   (   not that it mattered much anymore   )    chocolate hues pop open as she hears the familiar chime of the infirmary door. the young woman turns her body towards the commotion.

     it’s JUDITH, alexandria’s golden child. small, sweet and pure. catalina’s heart clenches at the sight. she hadn’t known the little girl long, but heaven knows she’d look out for her safety at all costs. leaning down to her level, she offers judy a small smile,   “   d’ya need a bandaid or somethin’ sweetie ?   ”
