Monday, February 3rd, 2020. Today was a good day. Not only did I finally get back to work, but I felt missed at work and came back to an All Staff PD about Trauma-Resilient Educational Communities (TREC). @learn4life as always, exemplifying the idea that there is a student in front of everything we do. Thanks to our Admin Team for bringing this training to us and for giving us the tools to help our students be successful. Also, on a more personal note, I had a great therapy session today. Today we worked on small attainable goals to help with the big picture. My goal this week is to continue working on my health. Had a rough week last week, and I’m finally on the mend, but still regaining my strength. My goal for the week is to take care of myself physically to be at my best to better serve my students, to be a better husband, and to be a better friend. So I am taking my meds, I had a good meal, and I’m getting a good nights sleep.
