things my genius dog has done that I never trained him to do and, frankly, did not ask for:

- brought me a quarter coin he found in the yard (he's seen me pick up change before)

- will nod yes to things he wants (eg "do you want this chew? huh? you want it??) *looks at me like I'm stupid and nods weirdly* (I often nod to him when I release him from sit/stay so this tracks)

- solved a "highest difficulty" treat puzzle in under 30 seconds, which was concluded by flipping the whole thing and dropping it on the floor.

so yeah I've never bothered with a "doggie iq test" because when your dog starts paying you with loose change it's time to admit defeat
