Jughead’s voice was soft and inquisitive, not at all laced with the panic he was feeling at the sight of this girl clinging to the back of the Ship of Dreams. The second she had come into view from his position around the corner his heart had quickened immediately, his eyes widening, a touch of sweat on the back of his neck to even out the trifecta. Was he selfish for thinking of himself first ? — ‘ if she jumped and they found me here, would i be charged with murder ? ‘ and the answer to both questions was a resounding YES — but right now he couldn’t let her go over, so he had to do what he did best. completely ignore the situation for sake of his witty, sometimes ( re: most of the time ) unfunny humor.

He wasn’t sure what else to do. Dive in after her ? Not an option unless suicide-by-rich-stranger was his fate. He remembers her, how couldn’t he? From the loading dock. She had her own ramp away from his third class one, and she’d been but a tiny silhouette in the distance but it had been that hair, the bright red of a flame, that he remembered the most about her. What up new girl! Welcome to the Riverdale fandom, I know we haven’t had a chance to start up yet in terms of writing so hey, let this be our excuse to make an introduction!
So I did a little readthrough of your blog, and other than you being adorable (heyo selcas!) you really do have such a grand view of Betty. Like your headcanons are so engaging to read, you are so excited to write the muse, and you just seem like a little ray of sunshine yourself, which is super awesome to see! What I love is that you’ve given her all these dimensions that the show has been unfairly missing out on, and that it’s so well rounded and not that she’s just ~dark~ and all that business. What a breath of fresh air!
Next up, I can tell already that you’ve made a huge impression on the RPC here just by being your own self. I take that as a sign of great things for your coming year, because like attracts like energy out here in the world, and that means your year?
