Neo Smartpen Dimo and Smartpen M1+ Review https://youtu.be/71Q8_Rc1NFI
The BEST Smartpen for 2020 !!! https://youtu.be/71Q8_Rc1NFI
Persuasion of Media and Smartpens
My second day of class was yesterday. I won't be doing this everyday. I'm just trying to write about my first experience about each course.
Yesterday was Korean 4 and Media Psychology (aka Psychological Approach to Mass communication). For Korea Language courses, there are 2 teachers. The teachers lecture every other day.
I arrived 15 minutes before Media Psychology started. Even before I was able to take a seat, the class was already full. There were wave of students standing in the back. I had emailed this professor previously if she had space available in her course, and she never answered. Now, I understand why. She said that she had over 70 emails from students asking if she could make just couple more spaces for the seniors (or else they can't graduate).
While it was a sophomore course for the communication-related major, there were more than 10 seniors who needed to take this course this Fall to graduate this year. Or else they had to wait one more year to take this course because they don't offer Media Psychology in the Spring. Unless the professor decides too... Fortunately, I was able to take one of the 5 spaces available for exchange students.
Class ended early because it was "syllabus day." At the end of class, I asked the professor what her smartpen policy was. I explained that it was a pen that records while you write down in a special dotted notebook. When you connect it to the computer like you would do with a ipod or iphone to charge, it uploads the recordings and your written notes onto your computer. I explained that I have ADHD, but I understood if she did not want students recording her lecture. I promised I won't upload her recordings online. She approved saying as long as it is helping me, she didn't mind. Yeah!!!
If you already have a Livescribe Pulse or Echo smartpen, you may be wondering how the recently introduced Sky smartpen uses Evernote to help you organize and collaborate. This video walks you through how you'll use the Sky smartpen without Livescribe Desktop and with Evernote instead!
We've had smart pens since around the turn of the century but the new Wacom Inkling looks quite interesting in that it's aimed at artists and designers and doesn't need special paper to work. You still need to attach a device to your sketchpad - which seems a little awkward if you ask me but I'd still really like to have a go on one.
