Idc what anyone says I absolutely loved the Koopalings in the tv show.
So my headcanon for them is that the tv versions of them are when they were kids.
Headcanons are below the cut ----- ✂︎---
Ludwig 💙 - He used to love science experiments as a kid and Iggy would be his assistant when Lemmy was busy creating a new circus act. He doesn’t have interest in science experiments anymore, but he would help Iggy every now and then with his creations, but only if he’s in the mood to do so or he’s bored.
He’s also embarrassed how he let his hair be so unruly as a kid, so he mastered a long but careful hair care routine.
Roy 💜 - He spoke in a gruff, Brooklyn accent as a kid because he was hyper-fixated on 90s and 00s rappers from Brooklyn. (Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Busta Rhymes, etc). He doesn’t talk like that anymore, but I HC you can slightly still hear it if you pay attention to how he talks (especially when he gets mad, his insults are very New York lol)
He used to bully his younger siblings physically but not anymore once they got older. He will still bully them verbally tho.
Lemmy 💛 - Loved playing with his younger twin when they were younger and did a lot of pranks together. He would still do pranks on his siblings from time to time for his TikTok account as filler content in between videos (I hc he shows off his circus tricks on TikTok videos for a wider audience).
Iggy 💚 - Before his growth spurt, Iggy loved pulling pranks where he and his older twin Lemmy could do doubles on others. Iggy took this very hard when his growth spurt hit him and the twins are no longer identical looking, so their twin bond with pranks came to a halt. Iggy went on a mental journey to become his own person due to the growth spurt.
However, one habit that still remains between the twins is sometimes Iggy will finish Lemmy’s sentence or say the sentence at the same time without trying.
Wendy 🩷 - She outgrew the brattiness she had when she was younger, but her brothers LOVE to remind Wendy her cringey behavior back then. Their favorite running joke is calling her Miss America.
I did nix the moment where she kissed Luigi in disguise in that one episode since these are moment when they were children, but I HC that she used to have a crush on Luigi instead so her brothers roast her for that.
Morton 🤎 - I HC Morton as AUDHD, so there’s times where if he gets excited, he will still talk very passionately about whatever excites him. Now that the Koopalings are older and Morton is diagnosed, his siblings are alot nicer to him about letting him know when he’s talking too much. They either tap on his shoulder and gently tell him he’s too excited to keep up with what he’s saying or just let him say his peace lol.
Larry 🩵 - Sneaking, lying, cheating and stealing are still deeply encoded within Larry, just not as a bad as it was when he was younger. He will lie out of any troubling situation he’s in, cheat in any game he’s playing, steal whatever he has his eye on (though it’ll be petty theft). Larry is a big dreamer of running his own heists when he grows up.
He still calls himself “The Emperor of Eavesdropping” when he hears something juicy amongst his siblings and will sneak his way closer to listen better. Whatever information he picks up from his elder siblings, he will use it to blackmail them for his own benefit
A very belated Vday draws, finished it late yesterday so rip but this is from my Casino AU where they’re already dating. They’re both frisky with each other ;) I’ll show yall more of the au later… maybe 👀☕️
I waffled a lot on what pokemon to give the bros, but in the end I thought it would be funny if Mario, as a protagonist, gets to have a nice balanced team with no particular theme, and Luigi has the ghost version of Mario's team.
(Bowser has a turtonator, a torkoal, and a charizard, but I didn't draw them because it would take too much space)
if this was a game there would be a little puzzle where you have to help a kid who says he's the gym leader break into the fire gym, and after you defeat him his dad shows up and yells at you for helping his son do crime and for not going easy on him. For the rest of the game you sometimes run into this guy, but it's not until he's revealed as the secret leader of the bad guy team that you learn he was also the real fire gym leader all along.
After defeating King Boo in lm3, Luigi picked up the diamond from his crown, and watched it dissapear.
He did not know that the crystal chose who rules the boos, and while King Boo powered it up with the dark moon energy to let him control other ghosts, the gem itself still works how intended.
And as the diamond disappeared... well, it fused with him, really. Choosing him to be the new ruler of the boos.
As you can see, the power of the dark moon has also infused into him, turning his eye purple. That means he can control ghosts, but, well, Luigi wouldn't do that, maybe in self defence.
(White hair is not a side effect of this, it's actually from when he got thunderhand)
Anyways, now that he has been chosen, he has to be the ruler.
