Forgor to post this but during their younger days (early Elites), Spork, Sizz-Lorr, Poki, and Bobby were friends. Soon Hobo 678 joined in and these five were described as the Weirdos (for various reasons).

(tiiiiny detail but the reason Bobby and Poki wear different colored onesies than Spork and Sizz Lorr is because Bobby n Poki are Senior Smeets so they came from a different batch of clones BEFORE Spork and Sizz Lorr were born. Realistically, Hobo 678 is supposedly the eldest of the four.)

Listen. I know that Zim is an evil alien with a serious disconnect from typical morality but I just deeply love the idea of him being insanely good with babies and enjoying being around kids even if it’s not something he’s conscious of or seeks out.

Like yeah, Gir is kind of his baby. Not only that but Gir is like a super human toddler. He is never tired, he is always distracted, he throws tantrums. Hes the embodiment of everything a person who hates kids, fears.

A small baby crying, or a child being excessively moody or rowdy would not phase Zim in the slightest.

It’s also entertaining to see the fuck-ups, and disappointments of the world have a chance to be playful with kids who don’t hold any judgement against them.

Also exceptionally hilarious when in contrast with Dib who may be a little scared of babies
