Yo what up followers!!! I’m a Scentsy consultant now!

Basically I wanted to share this with you all because right now I’m in between jobs. It’s really difficult for me right now and I would greatly appreciate any and all help I could get, plus you’d all be able to get some really amazing smelling things and also be helping me out! Any tips on how to get odor out of plastic? I bought some plastic organizer drawers from an estate sale, but when you open them they all have a strong smell (the sale was from an elderly lady's home so, it's that smell). Since the items going in these are fabric (clothes mostly) I don't want the smell to transfer but I'm stuck on how to get the smell out first. Thanks!

Try either soaking them in vinegar (the vinegar smell will dissipate once rinsed and aired out, I promise), or putting them (open) outside in direct sunlight. Some people have also had luck with baking soda or denture tablets, but I’ve found that vinegar or good old-fashioned sunlight are the most effective.

The first week back in work is finally done. But it was hard.

No pub tonight. Think I've been doing it a little too much lately, so I'm having a break.

But I might have a drink tomorrow. It's Saturday, it's my unofficial day off. I might drop into games workshop and see what skaven they have, and if I'm really daring, I might see if I can buy Space Marine 2!

I also need deodorant, face wash, and other stuff.

Friends of Volunteer Park Conservatory: Dougsley Was ‘A Dud’

“After several days of intense anticipation, Dougsley the Corpse Flower has apparently stopped blooming and is starting to decompose,” wrote Friends of the Conservatory at Volunteer Park on Facebook yesterday. “Unfortunately the bloom never fully opened leaving many confused visitors to wonder where was the stench!”

Douglsey was an exciting addition to the Conservatory, ushered in in August with an exhuberant announcement. When it became clear the flower was verging on blooming, the Friends of the Conservatory were keen to keep everyone posted. However, after several days of Bloom Watch, it became clear that Douglsey was “a dud.” As a result, the flower “has been removed from the building.”

Poor Douglsey. 

Corpse flowers bloom only about every decade, so Young D will have another shot when we’re all dead and gone and dinosaurs have reclaimed the earth. 

In the meantime, there’s still lots of cute stuff to see in Volunteer Park and the Conservatory so you should still go, even if it means you won’t have the opportunity to smell a plant that reeks of hot garbage.
