Haha, I’ve read something similar few days ago in that old Edinburgh Encyclopedia. Dr B is adorable. Also PM looks different in every portrait I’ve seen of him, the most confusing is probably the one done by Rosalba Carrera ;)

LOL yeah most pictures of Metastasio make him look like a troll (except for the van Meytens one, I guess). The Rosalba Carriera portrait is my favorite, actually–he looks like he is a little nervous about getting his picture done, which I find very relatable!

He’s off-screen for the entire book but he gets mentioned a few times, mostly so George Sand can give him backhanded compliments about how he’s a great singer but all of Porpora’s ex-students are shallow ingrates who didn’t deserve him...

Oh! :D I was actually kind of asking for Outlander prompts (and referencing the title “Outlandish Companion”, not so much prompts that are outlandish, I should have made this clearer. But actually I like this! Oooh, I like this a lot. I think this is something I really need to do. She would end up drinking tea with Baba Yaga, wouldn’t she? And then... *shakes fist* stop giving me marvel art bunnies, I have to do 23 more Outlander drawings!

Ooooh, I hadn’t even thought about John and Bree! I love their chapter in Drums! John is so exasperated by her, but still so kind and tender since she reminds him of Willy so much... Thank you, that is an excellent idea!
