Busted: Milo and Kerrie
Kerrie stared at Milo. There was nothing different about him than usual-same smile, same disposition, same look. Except for the gigantic jacket.
"…so," she started, tilting her head. "You're sure you're not hiding anything from me?"
"Of course," said Milo, smiling cheerfully.
"Not a single thing?"
"Nope!"
"Well…that's a nice jacket, anyway," said Kerrie. "Is it new?"
Before Milo could answer the sleeve of Milo's jacket did for him with a bark. Whether in agreement or protest Milo crossed his arms, laughing and patting at where the bark had come from.
"I thought it seemed a little ruff," said Kerrie.
She couldn't help but smile.
"Well…so long as you return them to the shop after a little while…and maybe let me pet them..I won't tell if you don't?"
Kerrie heard another bark come from the pocket on Milo's jacket.
"…and when I mean return them, I mean all of them."
"Aw, that's no fun," said Milo. At a frown from Kerrie he waved his hands. "Alright! Mr. Eff isn't the biggest fan of puppies anyways."
