Back of the book S,M,L,XL
The back of the book show the intention of the book. It is a starting point on how they gathered everything for the content of the book. The title of the book is already a statement on how the book is made.
Subcaption of the image is important for the relation of the image.
Text and image are connected.
Tags showing what is on the image. (cross-reference)
Archive can be based on what is on the image. For instance GREEN soccer and solar panels.
The archive is the content page, the text is more like the index (the words).
Story teling in a book is different than the storytelling on an internet page.
Kuleshov effect.
ALWAYS DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN BETWEEN (VERFREMDUNGSEFFEKT)
1928 was the book Die Neue Typography by Jan Tschichold. The book had a new form of editing ( from everything in the middle (symmetrical)). Jan Tschichold said that you don’t had to organize everything symmetrical, when you organize it asymmetrical you grab the viewers attention.
The place of the photograph shows the intention of the photo.
If one detail is important, it should be your choice if you only want to use that specific part of the photo, or the entire photo to see that the detail is connected to everything around it.
