Hello wonderful anon- I have taken my chemise apart since being home, as this version was only supposed to be for the sake of photos. I am making my final chemise this week and next week and once I have smocked that properly I will post it

Some smocking adventures!

The method with the gathering was pretty annoying, because the linen fabric is very dense, so getting through with the needle was a hassle, but I found a gather free tutorial for the honeycomb stitch that was very fun and much simpler!! It's still pretty messy, but that's because I didn't place the dots very well

I taught myself to do smocking today. It took forever to do but this test strip started 20" long and is now 4" at rest and 10" stretched! My DnD party thought it was cool.
