Morning Edition producer Claudine Ebeid walked past my desk this morning with her fresh cuppa joe -- in a deep blue souvenir of the show’s live reports from Des Moines during caucus coverage back in February. Only four more months till Election Day!
It’s caucus day in Iowa, and Morning Edition is broadcasting from Smokey Row Coffee Co. in Des Moines. Co-host David Greene started the show with Iowa Public Radio’s Clay Masters, who tweeted that pic among others.
This brings to mind a mug from back in July (it’s NPR Ed producer Elissa Nadworny’s, but that’s developer Grant Dickie holding it): Kicking ass in Des Moines!
