I’d place Dustfinger as Lutheran.  Still very liturgical, like Catholicism, but with Luther’s emphasis on the Solas and vernacular instead of high Latin.  I like to think that he’d become a more wholehearted Lutheran after his encounter with Death.  Before, he never understood the doctrines of substitution and justification.  Also very Arminian in regards to free will, which does differ from traditional Lutheran teaching.

P.S. Capricorn would be Episcopal (hierarchy is v important).  Meggie would be Pentecostal (glossolalia) - Mo’s Reformed (predestination, orderly faith) and doesn’t approve.  Farid and Elinor would be Eastern Orthodox (focus on saints/holy days like Catholics, but much more mystical, and no Purgatory).
