Work Drugs is back this year with new single “Giving Up The Feeling” from their upcoming LP One Foot Off the Merry-Go-Round, set to release this summer. When I first took a listen to this song, I was reminded of Trails and Ways. The drum beat on this track is so infectious and I love the grainy lo-fi sound on the vocals. The lo-fi-ness of the vocals gives them this whispery sound that works really well with the vibe of the song. It’s brisk and refreshing.

'Chase the Night' and 'My Billie Jean' are the first two tracks released off of Work Drugs' upcoming album 'Louisa'. The band describes this song as "a tribute to those that light up our worlds". The song is a hazy, but upbeat track that brings me back to nostalgic car rides through summer nights. Excited to hear what else is on this upcoming LP.
