the flame

i closed my eyes

and you touched me tender

your touch was fire,

melting the frozen parts in me.

you traced my ice cracks

and in just a soft press

you broke them all,

and took away my coldness.

you gave me heat

with your kiss and your scratches

you burned me with your love,

i fell in love again. 

but then i opened my eyes

and you were gone,

you were just a shadow

of a flickering flame.

a friend’s worth

I am always the unlucky friend. The kind of friend that everyone has, but the kind of friend that’s taken for granted. A friend who’s not worth the risk. I am always at the bottom of someone’s friend list, a last resort. A friend passed to anyone who is willing to at least choose me. 

But after many ‘passing’, I truly realized that no one will ever choose me. No one tries to stay by my side when they meet someone new. No one tries to keep in touch with me. It was always me who do the courage to talk to them when I need them. It was always me who had many friends, but none of them was really my friend. 

No one ever stayed, so I pushed them away to make them stay. But for all the push I made, they still had the balls to choose someone else over me. 

I get it. I do. I’m not worth fighting for.

Just a friendly reminder to always value your friends. Please love them and choose them. You never know what goes through their heart and mind.

 It’s bullshit how we are only missed when we are gone. It’s like another way of saying that our presence can only be felt with our absence. 

We are only missed because they know we are truly gone but if we weren’t truly gone, will they miss us still?

I ran to you for the last time. This shall not end here. I won’t end it here. We had visions, dreams, and everything we could never asked for. We planned it all.

But not this. Not this parting.

Not this ending.

Every step I take to you is every step away from you. So, I ran slower. I don’t want you to leave. I don’t want you to be gone. But there is nothing I could do. 

I ran again, faster till I finally reached you. I held you in my arms and you held me in yours. I held you in my heart, but you held me in your arms. I held you in my soul, but. .  . you only held me in your arms. 

I held you, with my love, with my promises, with my broken body. 

I held you like I was clinging to dear life.

But you only held me in your arms.

Darkness started to grow in her and she started to grow in it too. So when it's time for the light to shine on her, it was too late. She cannot be seen. She was already the darkness.
