1^ Follower Ficlet Prompt =D

For Snack-size, my first follower, who asked fluff and Chaleigh.  ;D

Turned out, saving the world had its perks.

Sure, getting ejected seconds before Pentecost blew the nuke on Striker's back made for a long, difficult recovery and the loss of an arm, but after that…

As thanks from the Australian government, Chuck got a plot of land the size of a small village on the Australian coast, complete with a private beach and a nice house. He also got a nice J-tech prosthetic that worked so well that at times it felt like it was his real arm, and was earning enough money in patents from his tinkering on Striker to live the rest of his life doing nothing.

The real spoils of war, though, was the man sitting on his ass massaging oil into his back and shoulders. He drew strong, slow strokes from waist to neck and back, and strong thumbs drew slow circles on his shoulders.

If he's dead, nobody come looking for him because he must be in heaven.

“Hey, you're not falling asleep on me, are you?”

Chuck groaned and thumped his forehead on the beach chair. “How can I, when you open your big mouth right when I'm falling asleep?”

Raleigh's hands moved to his left shoulder, applying more force on the cramping muscle of the shoulder holding the base of the prosthetic.

The American chuckled. “Oh, but you like my big mouth.”

“I hope you're not fishing for compliments, cause that was kinda lame.”

Chuck felt himself give off a noise, a love child of a moan of pleasure and a relaxed groan, as Raleigh plastered himself on his back and nibbled at the tender skin behind his ear, still working on his shoulder with one hand as the other one slid down his side into his boxer shorts. They turned, and Chuck stood just as Raleigh had lazily started to stroke him. The blond looked at him, baffled, and followed Chuck with a whine. Chuck pinned him to the wall next to the French door and kissed him with his eyes closed.

“Don't get me wrong, Raaahleigh, I'm all for pounding your ass,” he said huskily in the blonde's ear, “but I need my superhero arm to do it, and that chair is fucking uncomfortable.”

Chuck stepped into the house and, not so seductively, wiggled out of his shorts. He got his arm from the charging stand and hooked it in.

“So... think you can get it up again at your old age or what?” he taunted, flashing his dimples.

Raleigh stumbled in his excitement to get out of his shorts and almost face planted on the floor; Chuck picked him up and put him on his shoulder. Raleigh squeaked as he got smacked on the ass.

Chuck grinned.”To the victor go the spoils, right?”

Was reading snack-size's Winter Olympics AU fic before taking a nap, woke up to mom watching pairs skating. "So... How did they do?" "Who?" "Mako and Ra..-ha..hahahahaha man, I uh, I gotta.. I gotta go." I'm clearly a total champ.

1. What is your favorite type of cupcake? 

I'm not a super picky kind of person when it comes to flavours... can I say "homemade"?

2. If forced to inhabit a fictional universe, where are headed off to?

Ummm, wow, that's a hard decision! A lot of fictional universes are cool to read about, but not for civilians with no powers or interesting abilities... I guess I'd probably choose Marvel, because at least I could tell them that I'm an interdimensional traveller and they'd know how to get me set up with a new home and identity? 

... maybe I could become a dentist for SHIELD....

3. Do you like the winter or summer Olympics better?

Winter! It has all the sports Canada participates in XDDD

4. Who is your favorite character to write/draw? 

Uuuuu this changes at least once a month if not more D: 

Right now, I'd say my favourite character to write is Mako Mori, because she's a legitimate badass who I admire and who is also surprisingly easy to write? 

Characters that tend to flow well for me, though, include Guy Gardner, characters from NEXTWAVE and Newt Geiszler >>;

What would you major in/do a college course in if you didn’t have to worry about a job after? - i.e. you are assured employment regardless of how esoteric your choice

Oh man, I'd probably not change anything about my path? I really enjoy dentistry...

Do you think your zodiac sign is accurate - do you match up with its traits? 

I use my Chinese zodiac symbol, which is the snake, and honestly... a lot of the snake traits match up with me, but some of them don't. It's close, especially if you look at the Earth Snake traits in particular, but there's definite discrepancies. It's a lot closer than I'd think the Capricorn symbol would be, though.

Cats or dogs? Why?

Both, but if I had to make a choice, dogs because I'm not allergic to them D:

You can only read 5 books for the rest of your life - what do you chose?

Shit, that's a tough decision. If we're talking pleasure reading only and not, like, instruction manuals for things, then I'd say I'd keep The Song of the Lioness, Dealing with Dragons, Guards! Guards!, The Blue Sword and To Kill a Mockingbird. Those are the classics that I can think of off the top of my head; the ones I actually own. 

Hogwarts - which house? 

Hufflepuff. No question about it; that's where I go.

You’re forced to get transplanted back in history, though allowed to pick your occupation/station in life - where are headed?

Ugh. There's not a lot of good options here, since I only speak English, but I'm Chinese. Also, I'm not vaccinated for things like polio or other strains of diseases that were rampant back in history, so I'd probably be really likely to get sick with something terrible. Bleh. Given my options, it might be nice to be an eccentric heiress to a rich estate in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the Renaissance? I'd be able to induge being cleanly, I'd be able to experience a lot of art and scientific discovery, and I might be able to learn Italian or French easier than other languages...
