Free hair ties! What do you pick up off the ground to #reuse? People drop perfectly good things all the time. These #hairties were all picked up from the ground (parks, beaches, changing rooms, sidewalks) and given a good wash. I really like these #snagfree hair ties for my #curlyhair, but I'd never buy them for myself because they are #plastic and unrecyclable. I also found out that when they get all stretched out you can just pour boiling water over them and they spring back to their old tight curls! 😁 I also pick up hair pins if they aren't rusty, and occasionally a scarf or hat if it looks like nobody is coming back for it. I haven't found any hats or scarves that I have absolutely loved, so I'll bring them home, wash them really well, and offer them to people who are sleeping rough on the streets.
