I guess tumblr is doing the Snake game for April Fool’s but they also posted all kinds of snakes, including Crowley’s tattoo. So I had to make this.

And I know it breaks the rules of the original game (where you die if the snake touches itself), but it’s the “SNEK game” so it’s fine.

Pet Snake!Crowley was sort of.. plucked from the street by you. You’d gone into the pet shop in search of something less intimidating until he’d gently curled around your ankle and fallen asleep. It was so adorable that you didn’t remember to scream. Since he wasn’t sold by the shop, you got your new pet for free!

You end up driving home with Pet Snake!Crowley in your cup holder. The end of his tail stays curled around your wrist, as he’s surprisingly clingy for a wild animal. When you try to pull your arm away, you feel his body tightening around you and a purring “hssssss” from his throat. You later discover that the car is his favorite place.

You don’t worry about Pet Snake!Crowley biting— you gave his nose a firm tap the first time he hissed at you, and it made him cry. You had to apologize with lots of chin scratches and a little ride on your record player’s turntable.

Pet Snake!Crowley loves old books, slithering through the copies of Sherlock Holmes you keep stacked on your desk to take in the scent. The slits of his eyes widen almost puppy-like when he does, tempting you to bring him to a library. He is, however, very avoidant of bibles and (strangely) books on how to do magic tricks.

He has a terrarium full of plants that he likes hiding in. Pet Snake!Crowley is very high maintenance, so the terrarium plants have to stay healthy and pristine at all times or else he gets cranky.

Pet Snake!Crowley loves fluffy things! He’s a weirdly emotional creature, and gets very attached to fluffy white things. You’ve yet to figure out why it’s fluffy white things in particular, but it makes you want to adopt a bunny friend for him.

Pet Snake!Crowley likes outside time before sleep. He’s doesn’t really sleep though, so most of the time it’s you popping open a window just enough for him to poke his head out. When he’s done, he retreats to his terrarium, his heat lamp, or the blanket pile on your bed. ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ⊹ ࣪ ˖
