Wanted to draw my couffaine twin Kwami swap again. For their names someone suggested Queen Cobra for Juleka and I love that so much. Lukas name is harder but I thought the suggestions of orchestiger and purple prowler weren’t bad.

I came across a really neat post by @sillygoofylittleartist with costume designs for Tiger!Luka and Snake!Juleka, and had a lot of thoughts about that. I was running out of room in the tags, so I’ll put them here.

Juleka would be a really interesting pick for the snake. She’s a very shy and anxious person, and I think that having the ability to reset and try again when she made a mistake would be a relief at first.

Maybe it would build her confidence knowing that she can try again until she gets it right, and no one has to know she messed up. Or maybe it would fill her with doubt, knowing how many tries it took to get it right and seeing the consequences of her mistakes. Especially if her teammates complimented her on how well she was doing, because they wouldn’t know, and she probably wouldn’t tell them much beyond “Well, it took a few resets . . .” Probably one after the other, and initial period of “I can’t be a hero! What am I doing!” followed by a buildup of confidence that slowly turns to self doubt.

I think Sass would be a good partner for her. He’s level headed and wise, and that steady surety would be a good counter to panic spirals. He could help her see that we get the chance to try again and again our whole lives. We’re going to make mistakes, but we also get to learn from them so that we can do better in the future.

Juleka would fidget with her bracelet when she was nervous as a civilian. She would think it was cool that Sass ate whole eggs or whatever and would offer to buy him mice, maybe. He could hide in her hair. Although I doubt she’d be a heavy hitter physically in akuma battles, the attention on her then could be something she’d channel when modeling. If she could tackle a giant robot on live TV dressed as a snake, she could model some outfits.

I might have more thoughts later, but I wanted to get these out. Thanks for reading! 🐍👩‍🎤

This was a bit messy, but here is Snake!Juleka based on @princess-of-the-corner 's design for their Juleka "Queen Cobra"! I gave her a sword bc she deserves a sword

Introducing: Juleka Couffaine as Queen Cobra!

I have decided to draw out the planned Heroes for Lady Luck as a bonus for everyone who follows the story on here!

Queen Cobra will be our first Hero of Season 3!

Quite obviously, I have gone for a Pirate Queen theme for this one. And I love her! 

I will admit I drew Queen Cobra once a long, long time ago when LL was first starting. And she’s the only one of the Zodiacs whose Miraculous hasn’t been shifted since back then.

Debating a name for Snake!Juleka right now. Stuck between three ideas.

1. Mamba, something with Mamba. Like Teal Mamba? Cursed Mamba sounds almost too dark but it's cool

2. Boa, like the constrictor. Idk it's my favourite class of snakes

3. Basilisk. She'd be themed around the basilisk I guess

Lemme know what y'all think or if you have any other suggestions. Also any ideas for dragon!Luka would be nice. I really like the pirate theme idea but I'm still open to suggestions

No, not at all, ❣️I LOVE❣️ your designe!!! (But if you feel it off, maybe a bit baggier pants? And I feel the chest pattern is good on both designe, it fits her☺️)

Originally I was about tu suggest the name of Typhon, because he had snake legs...but he was a male antagonist, so that would be better for Gabriel (or, to reference typhones, ⏩Re-wind🌪️).

But for her, Madam Madusa or Madam Gorgon. Madam, is because it fits her, and a palindrome (same meaning forward and backward)referencing start and end are the same for Snake user (alternativly can spelled MadaM or maDam). Medusa is for her fame, snake hair and "paralising" gaze, also alliterates. Or Gorgon, the common name for Medusa and her sisters, 1. Because sound like Go on, since Alya rarly backs down, and 2. Because sounds like a repetition, like snake power😁 (alternative spelling GorGon)

I already have a name for her, it's Ourobelle but the suggested ones aren't bad, especially Typhon, I'm gonna use that one for Gabriel.

Also, the Gorgon like you suggested made me think of Goregon as a new name for snake!Juleka (I've been renaming her)

Finally got to Queen Cobra and Unicorn! I had to post these two together.

Juleka is def using the confidence boost of being a Superhero to live out that model dream. Rose's costume is a little much, but that's kind of the point to have it be "I've watched way too much mlp!". Also it's a crime to not put her in pink so I decided colors are relative.

Unicorn is also the first Lady Luck transformation to include a change in hair color. I mean, Turtledove kinda did, but that was more adjusting the multicolored strands to fit the theme than a full color shift.
