What do you think is the occupations of your fav MDZS and SVSSS characters in modern AU? Sorry for the random ask....

I have already answered modern MDZS headcanons with my hippie lans, and in general, but I can go over SVSSS no problem!

Shen Yuan: He's still sort of a withdrawn homebody (I definitely subscribe to the chronic illness headcanon for him because it just feels right) but now that he has Luo Binghe to take care of him he is in better shape than he was. It's hard to be on your own when you're struggling with health and I greatly admire everyone who manages it, so I'd like him to be able to just be taken care of between his family's money and his loving husband and not have to try and work.

Luo Binghe: Hmm this is tricky...I honestly feel like he'd prefer to devote his time to taking care of Shen Yuan. Maybe he takes on odd jobs here and there, but a career I don't think is what he wants. In canon he mostly runs the demons because it's dangerous for both demons and humans to not have someone in charge who can cross both lines, but in a modern au? Maybe he went to nursing school for a while and just now enjoys living with and taking care of Shen Yuan. It's a simple life, but he's happier for it.

Ning Yingying: I get martial artist teacher vibes from her. Also like art artist. She's out there creating and being sunny and happy, but also sometimes she just has to judo slam someone into the ground a bit.

My snakey boy (my poor overworked brain will not spell his name today I'm so sorry) is now going to be a happy soul who gets to go live in the woods and chop trees and carry water and be free. Be a happy boy in the sun.

Liu Qingge: This man is out being beautiful and kicking ass in some way still. Maybe a professional bodyguard, maybe an action movie star. I think perhaps the latter. A good coach can help him through all that shyness and people like gruff actors in action movies anyway. Besides he's so hot he'd sell even if he couldn't deliver dialogue for shit.

Yue Qingyuan: Oh Yue Qingyuan, I feel like if your upbringing were anything close to what you dealt with in canon, you're a pro-bono lawyer who specializes in helping people in abusive situations get away and get help. Your heart is so good.
