Did he just call Crowley a trollop?
Fraternizing doesn’t mean what we think it does
When Aziraphale says fraternizing it’s not a trivialization of his and Crowley’s relationship. He is using EXACTLY the right word for how heaven and hell would see their relationship. The second definition in Merriam-Webster:
2. a. : to associate on close terms with members of a hostile group especially when contrary to military orders.
He’s talking about The Arrangement. Because of course Aziraphale would know the perfect word, and of course Crowley would take it wrong and be hurt.
I think Aziraphale does pause to think ‘what the hell am I going to call this’, but I think his choice is ‘not even remotely touching our relationship, because we don’t talk about that, going to talk strictly about The Arrangement’. Has Aziraphale even used the word friend at that point?
Dear Lord, the layers of meaning Neil Gaiman can put into a scene!

Just some more screenshots from my DAO playthrough. :)
Fraternize.
Concept: Crowley screaming ETERNITAAAAAYYYY in that exact voice but instead of “eternity” it’s “fraternity”. Like:
FRATERNITAAAAYYYY
