is there any piece of vanilla media that has made you go 👀 (like a sick episode/ off-the-cuff mention of a character's allergies/ etc.)

Oh I’m sure there’s tons, but the one that sticks out in my mind is the fact that Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney canonically has pollen allergies and it’s never utilized ever.

It drives me insane because there have been characters that have canonically sneeze in the series too, so there’s no reason not to mention it!!!!

Headcanons of a sick or sneezy V//ox? 🥺

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this!

I have a feeling his sneezes changes as the decades went on. When he first came to hell and had a 1950's style TV, which was much more prone to overheating and overloading. Plus, there were not as many reliable vents. Hence, when he sneezed, it was so violent that this man used to blow a fuse each and every time. This was especially a problem when sick. Try as he might, that head of his just wasn't made for quiet sneezes nor the ability to hold them back. Tired of being black screened and useless until someone replaced his fuse, he decided it was time for some adjustments.

He tinkered throughout the years until eventually he had a much more efficient screen, volume control, and a better ventilation system. With Filters! With fewer allergens to make him sneeze and a reliable control of volume, he was now a master at stifling! With a few nearly imperceptible sneezes, the allergen is out of his vents and off to bother someone else. However, with all the adjustments he made, he is more computer than TV; leaving him much more susceptible to accidentally downloading viruses. On top of it all, he still runs into the problem of blue screening when caught in a particularly bad sneezing fit nowadays

Hawks- I would say I assume he doesn't have as many allergies but rather he's got a sensitive nose, especially when he's sick. Even his own feathers make him sneeze when he has a cold. Maybe he's allergic to some random uncommon flower and he only discovers this because of all the bouquets his fans throw at him. Flying up so high makes his nose extremely cold, so it's all runny and sniffly when he gets back down (that's what the high fluffy collar on his jack is for 👀)

Dabi- oh this man's body is FUCKED and you know that includes his immune system. Awful mix of doesn't work well enough yet works too well in ways he doesn't want. Absolutely allergic to dust and mold, which is awful for all the shitty rundown bases the League stays in. Spring and fall allergies, he gets a break in the summer but it's so hot that he gets quirk fevers so is it really a break? 👀 the stray alley cats that are attracted to the heat he gives off make him sneeze -ironically- kittenish fits and he hates his inability to say no to them. Hawks buys him the good allergy meds when he finds out tho. Even candles with too strong of scent will set him off. And don't even get him started on Hawks' feathers (or do, since Hawks has the kink)

Oh god yes („ಡωಡ„), in a drunken state once I almost admitted to it in front of a crush I had. Needless to say I tried to deflect it and just blurted out "oh no..I-I just think sneezes are..funny!". She didn't really buy into it at first, I don't know if she had suspicions or something. It was pretty embarrassing and I hope she doesn't remember anything (；￣Д￣). I'm usually not too ashamed of my kink and often I end up telling my good friends once I'm comfortable enough. They never judge it and we joke about it pretty often. Like one of them will sneeze randomly and the rest of the group will look at me like "You liked that didn't you ? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" and we'll have a good laugh xD! Tho once I end up dating someone, I'm much more embarrassed of it and it takes me a while to come clean (⊙_⊙)

"Are your cold sneezes different than your allergy sneezes?"

Hmmm to be completely honest I never paid close attention to it ^^'. I don't sneeze that much when I have a cold, I'm just mainly congested and feverish (which sucks ass). I'd say perhaps there's a liiittle difference, like my allergy sneezes will be more rapid and soft whereas my cold sneezes can be more drawn out and a tad harsher. There's not that much of a difference to be honest. Perhaps the difference lies in how messy the cold ones can get haha. The biggest difference I can state is between my "natural" sneezes and my "induced" sneezes; the natural ones are usually soft, with a bit of spray and a very subtle buildup. The induced ones on the contrary are very harsh, have a pretty lengthy and dramatic buildup, lots of mess and pretty much bend me in half xD (//ω//)

"Do you use tissues or something else to sneeze/blow into?" Mainly tissues yeah ! I always carry some with me because whenever I sneeze throughout the day, my nose fills up and I don't like being left sniffling like a toddler lmao. But if I have a cold I have this habit of picking an old shirt or two and using them to blow my nose into, I find them to be a lot more gentle on the skin and more respectful of the planet lmao xD. If I don't have any tissues available I usually use napkins or anything that can act like it. And if nothing of the sort is at my disposal then my sleeves or my shirt will have to do (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) "Do you have anything you absolutely cannot stand when it comes to snz? I know for me blessing people is hard sometimes lol" My parents sneezing (ﾉಥ益ಥ)ﾉ. Literally wanna throw myself under a bus whenever I hear them. My mom has those loud sneezes and they always come unannounced (x . x). My dad on the other hand makes these weird faces and of course he sneezes in triples or quadruples (ノ°益°)ノThankfully they don't sneeze a lot so I'm not subjected to this atrocity too much lmao. Blessing people isn't too much of a bother, it definitely feels weird and I don't enjoy it but for the sake of being polite I can manage xD
