marquise looked from the person he had been dating to the kid next to her and back to them. "uhm... you have a kid?" marquise asked, not sure why in the hell the other wouldn't have revealed that. he was now so into them, that thinking about being without them hurt him to his core... but he also didn't want to be a step-parent at all. he was on this earth for a fun time, not for school pick ups and shitty school plays... at least, he thought so. he couldn't do that, right?

lemon looked at willa and couldn't suppress the smile that appeared on her face. "really? because... because it's going to be a lot of stress and the kids may not be the most... friendly little people to be around at first, once they... know. in the future. not now." she kind of rambled, because now that she knew this she'd really need to act. leave him. get a lawyer. get her own place and a job. it was terrifying.

There's something strange going on with Nancy.

Something she doesn't quite know how to explain. At least, not yet. The only person she can think of who can help her figure things out is sitting right in front of her. Probably a little bit concerned and most definitely confused, seeing as she doesn't ask for help much. If at all.

She sits at the chair across from the other and fiddles with her hands, unsure how to go about this. Outside, the air is still and the moon is high in the sky. Cicadas sing together. Like nothing's wrong. Except for this one strange thing.

After a beat, she takes a sharp breath in before finally speaking.

"You know that guy we met the other day?" She gulps. "Well, I just don't think we should be seeing him anymore."
