He was pacing, he couldn’t be expected to sit still when she was around, feeling anxious and angry and confused all at the same time. “No you shouldn’t.” He snapped, glancing in her direction but not brave enough to catch her eye. “You were stupid and naive.” He paused for a moment, the tension in the air making it hard for him to breathe, but when he spoke again his tone was softer. “So why are you still here?”
