Upper halves are executed with metallic silver skins — which in this case points to the exterior aesthetic of the Malaysia-based structure — and come packaged with subtle hints of green that poke out through the lower heel and outsoles to translate the building’s tinted windows. Iridescent paneling shows face and overlaps across the mid-foot and tips of the toe in an effort to symbolize the reflection of the tower’s windows during various hours of the day. Moreover, you’ll find the heels adorned with “LAH” lettering, which is Malaysian parlance used to complement sentences in normal everyday conversation. Beside the pin, I made the back card to accompany it. Using existing @sneakerlah theme of Monopoly game I adapt it into their pin card. The front and rear illustration was adapted from an old drawings of Mr. Monopoly. Rare that I got to design someones face for a limited edition @sneakerlah pin designs from @pantunpins? Played around with different ideas on how @bryanbotakchin face would work without it being too straightforward that he's the "godfather" of sneakers. Sketching it up helps but in the end you still gotta steal couple of photos (stalker mode) to get it right. Staring at his face for days end was a pleasure.
