I once had a dog named Bandit. Since he was the first small dog I ever owned, with the nickname we have him Lil 'Dog. Lil 'Dog was a purebred Jack Russell Terrier and my mom said we were all equal, we even looked alike. He had a long face like mine, short hair, he even went as I did, with short steps as we tramped along. We were inseparable. We had matching clothes, got ice cream together and ran together. I never noticed that we looked like before my mom said something. I just thought of him as my little friend who loved what I loved, and that's why we got along so well. When the dogs seem to resemble their owners is because people subconsciously choose pets that resemble themselves. My pet Bandit and I are just one example of this phenomenon's existence. There have actually been studies that show this phenomenon of existence, one made by the author Michael M. Roy and his co-author Nicholas JS Christensen Field at the University of California at San Diego. They asked strangers to match the 45 dogs with their owners and most of strangers matched 16 of the 25 purebreds with their owners, and 7 of 20 in mixed breeds. ("Yes") Concerning this, different reasons for this phenomenon. Some may argue that people just say that dogs look like their owners because they heard rumors about the phenomenon itself. Others feel that it is only true with purebred dogs, and others believe that people choose their dogs on purpose to look like themselves. Still, the strongest reason for this phenomenon as the owner only choose their pet-twin unconsciously. Dogs look like their owners because people subconsciously look for properties that they see in themselves and therefore choose a dog that resembles them. Some say that this phenomenon does not exist. People assume that all dogs and their owners look alike because they were aware of the phenomenon. As mentioned earlier, I did not notice that my pets and I actually look the same until my mom said something about it. Someone who has never heard of this phenomenon would probably think it was ridiculous to compare a human to an animal, so they want to know exactly what functions look the same on the two. For example, a dog can have curly hair as its owner, or a woman can have the same smile as her dog. But, perhaps the person who describes this as referring to the facial structure of the two. Whoever thought of this phenomenon is never quite clear what the function of the owner and the dog is really split. It may just be the way that the two can go, or the same expression on his face. A dog owner who resembles his pet depends on what any observer might think. But it is this phenomenon only bring attention to something that people do not know. It can begin by just anyone notice how an owner and their pets may have certain personality traits that are similar, this would then cause them to notice the physical similarities between the two. It would be like to see an elderly woman walking her dog slowly down the street then you realize that the dog may have similar steps as the woman. This would make the viewer notice any similarities between the two, such as hair color, facial shape, or facial expressions. Noticing these similarities in principle to a pattern because people tend to notice a similarity then look for other affiliations. This is just something of a habit for people. People also have a habit when it comes to shopping for themselves as well. When people are looking for something for themselves, they look for properties that are within them. This is relevant when it comes to clothes shopping to shopping in China. This is also the case when you choose friends and mates. People like to relate to others like themselves, so there is no reason why this can not be the case when choosing a dog. For example, a person who likes to tell jokes do not make friends with someone who does not have a sense of humor, just like a person who does not like to exercise would not have a playful dog. This also applies to the look as well and this is very clearly shows. The dogs are well disciplined and courteous, just as their well-dressed handlers. Some dogs seem to go with their chest out just like their drivers do, and hair seems to be done in the same way as his driver. Since this is a competition that represents how well trained handling their pets, it is also a representation of the handler itself. These dog shows reveal why people choose dogs that resemble themselves: there is also a way to show the world who you are Another reason for this phenomenon may be that people consciously choose dogs that look like them .. Some may deliberately get a smaller dog so they can get them clothes to wear to match their own. Someone who has long hair and styling can dress her dog's hair to resemble his own. People do this because they see their dog as their pet, but as a family member. For some, the dog can be like a son or daughter to them. So to show "family look" they are trying to make their pets look as much as them as possible. It all begins with the future pet owners to go to the pet store and choose a dog that most resembles them. On the other hand, actually going into a pet store and choose their pet solely on their emblem? People see only the properties that would fit into their lifestyle. For example, an older person chooses not to a dog that is full of energy because they would not be able to return to give to their pets. Why not get a pet that had the same things you do? Even dogs have some visual clues that might show something about their personalities as muscles, their energy, their awareness and also their volume. For example, if you would see a dog that had muscular legs and a lean body, it would probably be a good jogging partner. Someone who also has an interest in the exercise would probably choose a dog like this because they may share a similar interest. As they work, they may look similar because they are both muscular. That's why dogs can look like their owners, after following this process of events. In the case of human resemblance to their pets, some say that this is only true of purebred dogs. They say this because people who own purebred dogs tend to spend more time on global decision about what exactly the dog they want. It is also more predictable to tell what a purebred will look like when they get older ("Yes"). As for a mutt, it would make the dogs look more erratic as it is no telling what kind of dog that would benefit. Buying a purebred, people know what features they get before they actually choose their pets, give them more power to choose the dog that best suits their personality. But look a few mutts actually like their owners. There is a possibility that someone might choose a mixed breed that is already full grown. The buyer would not have to worry about their future physical characteristics as it already has them. Another benefit of having a dog of mixed breeds is the fact that people are not "pure" and a dog that is not a purebred would have a better chance to look more like their owners. There are over 400 breeds of purebred dogs, but there are many more people in the world. Bastards even the odds for a person with more personal qualities such as his dog, because every mutt has its own individual look. Bastards are unique just like each individual on earth. When I went to the pet store with my mom looking for a new puppy, the first thing I noticed about Bandit that he was just adorable cute. I noticed that he was full of energy and makes a good running partner or just someone to play with when I get bored. I did not think he looks like me when he got older as a reason why my mom would buy him. I also had to think about the chaotic environment in my home, which he would have to adapt to. He seemed like he could get and fit right in. After my mother's comment about our connection, I looked at both of us in the mirror. We both kept a very perfunctory look at our faces for the most part and we both raised our eyebrows when we were happy. I chose my dog because I knew he would fit into my lifestyle, and I deliberately chose an animal counterpart. As I have said, dogs look like their owners because people unconsciously choose the form of PET. But this is just how people choose everything. Even when it comes to choosing a mate, people look for characteristics they see themselves. For example, someone who is very clean and tidy not get a huge scruffy dog to dirty up the house, and someone who is very active would not get a dog that just lies around. There are many dogs with many personalities and physical characteristics that could resemble a human being. When it comes to choosing a pet, people choose what they want.
