Hello! I was wondering, what are your favourite eruri manga pages?

Oh wow....where to start?! There are so many amazing Eruri moments in the manga that it's really hard to choose. But since you asked, here are my favourites....

1. Chapter 80 - The Crate Scene. This scene appears 4 times in the manga, but the first time is still the most heartbreaking. I remember reading the spoilers when this chapter came out, and tbh, I'm still not over it.

2. Chapter 81 - Only One Man. There's nothing I can say that could even begin to capture the emotion of this panel.

3. Chapter 81 - "I swore to him." The beauty and passion of Levi's anger never ceases to move me. Also the heart on his cheek...

4. Chapter 72 - "I'll break your legs." The rawness of Levi's despair is devastating.

5. Chapter 112 - The Vow. Though we never doubted his commitment, we waited so long for Levi to reaffirm his vow, and when the moment finally came, it exceeded all our expectations.

6. Chapter 139 - This is how it ends.

Honourable mention to....

7. Chapter 51 - "You are pitiful". A classic example of one of those weird exchanges Erwin and Levi share at deeply inappropriate moments.

8. ACWNR - The eye-fuck scene. Get a room FFS.

9. Chapter 55 - The Classroom Scene. Will Isayama ever put us out of our misery and explain what Levi was doing in Mr Smith's classroom? No. He won't. The bastard.

Hey! ☺ I was just reading one of your asks where you said how concerned and conflicted Levi was in the forest that he was ready to grab one of those traitor jaegerists and feed Zeke to him. I was wondering, is that a bad thing? I mean if Levi could really implement this plan the rumbling would've been avoided at least until Hisu was ready to eat the beast. At least he was trying to make a move, right? Would've that ended up in a disaster instead in your opinion for levi was making a rushed decision? 🤔 What do you think?

Yes, it was a very dangerous thing, imo. It's why his soldiers react so startled at his decision.

As Varis says, if the World was ready to pull an one-all attack on Paradis in the mean time, they would be done for. Without the Founder's power, their defense would be Armin/his colossal, and Eren's Attack Titan/Warhammer. There is so much they could do alone in the face of hundreds of airships, navy, and human military in a coordinate attack.

They had anti-titan artillery already (that MagaPi almost finished Zeke in Shiganshina), and Reiner + Galliard + the low endurance of the Warhammer Power were going to be a significant problem for Eren. Armin was going to be the biggest problem for Marley, but his endurance wasn't much too. All OP shifters had their weak points to balance their OP skills...

Then, if translations are accurate, Levi also says the plan is "reckless" (or risky) too.

And if the events had played out exactly as followed in the manga, Paradis was seriously done for because with just a handful of Marley’s broken army, the three Warriors, and the airships armed to the teeth with guns, things were walking down a very deadly path. Had Zeke not appeared to throw the Wall' boulders at the airships and the Warriors, I particularly can only imagine a very ass-pull death plot armor to save them all from this predicament. Armin couldn't even turn into a Colossal unless he killed all his allies...

I might be wrong tho, ofc. But it's the logical progression of events I can foresee happening.

Kill Zeke there would have certainly prevented the Rumbling. But, being believable, it could have spelled the end of Paradis, probably Eren's and some favs. Reiner would fulfill the Helos "prophecy", and become the final MC lol He would most probably die in the process too lol

The attack on Marley was successful because a lot of factors were included, like the cooperation of Onyankopon's air drive skills, the anti-marley volunteers, Zeke's plan and half-assed fight, it was a surprise-attack for them, and so on. But, flipping the tables, it would be quite chaotic for the SC and Paradis too.

The Yeagerists had Hanji as their hostage, and in the eventuality of having a confrontation with Levi on that few hours between the talk on the forest and Marley’s sneak attack, anything could happen. Who knows if Floch or Levi would even be capable of reaching Shiganshina before Eren was done for...

It would all be very chaotic. Especially if Floch, Hanji, Levi and Zeke had met halfway by the river. Yams could use it as a way to kill Hanji by their own soldiers' hands, or make Levi chose between whom to save; Levi could've gotten shot and died in a anticlimactic but unexpected way? LOL Hard to say. Too many possibilities!

Edit: actually, now that I think about Armin’s Titan, he could have turned into a Colossal without exploding and destroy the airships during the Sneak Attack... hmmmm. The possibilities are indeed a lot! It would be interesting to see him fighting with his Titan that way. Still, Floch, Hanji, Levi and Zeke would still have a deadly ending because *Yams* LOL
