This is the exact opposite of odd! This is my favorite sort of thing. I happily present to you my personal version of the Essential Hange Zoe Reading Guide  - complete with supplementary meta :)

  CHAPTER 20: HANGE’S ALL NIGHT TALK WITH EREN

Why it’s important: Hange’s mind and methodology are on full display, but what I most appreciate is on page 22 where we learn that Hange’s early motivation was anger and hatred. They were able to take those emotions and transform them into something useful - a quest for a answers.

In chapter 34 we get our first glimpse of that anger as Hange is dangling Nick off the wall. You don’t need to read that chapter, but please look at this meta by @snkception. It’s one of the very best.

  CHAPTER 43 - HANGE IN COMMAND

Why it’s important: This was our first look at Hange on the battlefield and we see them in control of not one, but four squads in a coordinated attack. Hange is making decisions, delegating responsibilities, ordering movements, and caring for the injured. It’s a beautiful thing. Long before Hange became commander, this chapter inspired confidence that Erwin’s choice of successor was the best one.

  CHAPTER 53 - TITAN TESTING TIME WITH EREN

Why it’s important: We see just how terrifying Hange Zoe can be. When Hange is intent on scientific discoveries, they can display a ruthless disregard for humanity.  In this chapter, Hange momentarily considers letting Eren completely fuse with his titan body just to see what would happen. They excitedly asked Moblit to sketch Eren’s bloodied and torn face. It’s one of the many times Hange needed someone to stop them before they went to far.

  CHAPTER 55 - TORTURING DJEL SANES

For those of us who love Hange, this chapter was a chance to see beneath the mask they often hide behind. While Hange starts out firmly in control of their emotions, as the ordeal goes on, we see them start to slip. This was Hange at their most raw and brutal and hurt. Hange, who spent years learning to overcome hatred is torturing a human being because the situation demanded it.  Meta here

CHAPTER 60 - SAVE THE SURVEY CORPS, SAVE THE WORLD

Why it’s important: While Erwin is tasked with swaying the military to his side, Hange has the more difficult assignment of swaying the hearts and minds of the people. With some brute force, a few threats, and a full on stage performance, Hange (and Moblit) help the common people overcome their feelings of terror and helplessness to stand against the government that lied to and oppressed them for so long. 

For the big payoff, you need to flip over to the final pages of chapter 61. Meta here.

Without exerting any special brain power, I can think of a dozen smaller moments that are equally important, moments that also speak to Hange’s depth, intelligence and humanity, but I since you asked for chapters, these are my choices. Happy reading!!!

Do you know how many official arts there are for a choice with no regrets?

Oh there is quite a bit of it floating around.  

First and foremost, you can purchase the A Choice with No Regrets manga by Hikaru Suruga and Gun Snark at your local bookstore or through Kodansha if you would like an electronic version of it. 

With that out of the way, here’s a few pieces of official material for the series.

The visual novel is the original story behind A Choice with No Regrets. As A Choice With No Regrets tends to change with each reiteration, I would suggest reading the original visual novel.

SNK Cosplay Masterpost

Over the last couple months, I've assembled a scary amount of tutorials and resources for Shingeki cosplay, so I thought I'd share them. I was Annie, and except for the hoodie and the white jeggings, I made everything, so a LOT of this masterpost is going to be DIY and making the cosplay from scratch. Hope this helps!

3D MANEUVER GEAR:

Here's a printable pattern for the back piece (I'd make a cardboard mockup first to make sure all the pieces are the right size, but THIS REALLY WORKS, IT'S AMAZING)

Nimbus made a bajillion posts on how to make really nice 3DMG (there's a lot to look through but it's really worth it, her 3DMG is basically perfect).

Kitsunedon's super easy and awesome manga 3DMG tutorial.

That translated Japanese one that looks amazing but the parts might be hard to find.

Fork's tutorial (I use this for the belt part bc it's ingenius, though I'd recommend you look at another tutorial to make the sheaths bc cardboard won't hold up for long)

One of the most hardcore 3DMG tutorials I've ever seen.

The same guy as the previous link, but there's some added suggestions about sturdiness and sealing methods.

BOOTS:

Here's an amazing Boot Cover Tutorial

Alternatively, you can buy them online (I don't have much research on buying boots bc I made mine).

***Where the boot cover tutorial is concerned, I noticed three things in hindsight:

1) Use high boots without protrusions (aka buckles and straps, bc they make sizing the bootcover actual hell).

2) Make sure that the black vinyl you use for the sole covers the ENTIRE sole (aka you don't want any pleather rubbing against the ground as you walk, bc it will wear away the pleather and your boots will have huge holes in the bottom and be ruined)

3) These bootcovers are a bitch if you make them too small, so insert a zipper (at least 8" long) along the back seam of your boot cover.

STRAPS: 

Where the straps are concerned, it's best to look at a bunch of pictures, as well as draw them out on paper yourself.

If you're gonna make the straps, you've gotta know how they all go together (bc the process of making the straps is basically just wrapping them around yourself, pinning, and then sewing).

Here's a strap (and skirt) tutorial (using the suspender clip method turns the upper harness and the lower harness into two separate units and allows you to go to the bathroom while wearing your cosplay!!)

JACKET:

Bag-lining made easy (the two tutorials above don't go into much detail on lining your jacket, so here's a nice easy tutorial on how to line your jacket using the bagging method).

Homemade Patches Tutorial

Alternatively, you could just buy iron-on embroidered patches bc they look really nice (though they are expensive).

A lot of people I've seen used Sew Classic Bottom Weight in Tobacco for their jackets (my JoAnn's didn't carry it, so I went with a cotton of a similar color for mine).

***For my jacket, I went to a thrift store and got a jacket that was close to how I wanted my snk jacket to look, then ripped it apart by the seams and modified the new "pattern pieces" (aka my jacket parts) according to the first link, with some help from the second. (Note: MAKE A MOCKUP FIRST!!)

***For the patches, I ironed interfacing to the back of some white cotton cloth, then I used the third link to iron the logos onto the front side of the cotton, cut them out, and sewed them to my jacket.
