The results are in! With 880 respondents (a massive jump from the 2019 poll!) who were given the ability to vote for up to 5 characters per person (3,274 votes total), you guys have decided who are the most liked characters from Attack on Titan within the community!

Of course, it is important to remember that this is only a sample size of the fandom, that all of these characters are loved, and that this was in no way intended to be contest. We were just curious where the characters currently stand in terms of fandom opinion!

Interesting trends to note from 2015′s poll, 2017′s poll and 2019′s poll:

This is the first poll that has knocked Annie Leonhart out of the Top 10.

This is the first poll where neither Ymir nor Historia have made the Top 10.

This is the first poll where Pieck Finger and Zeke Yeager ranked in the Top 10.

Hange has reclaimed the #3 slot after being pushed down to #5 in 2019.

This is the first poll where Armin has failed to make it into the Top 3. 

Since 2017, Reiner has managed to go from not even making the top 10 to ranking #2 in 2021. 

Related to the prior point, this is the first time anyone from the Warrior Trio has made the Top 3. 

Jean seems to always comfortably rank at either #6 or #7 over the years.

EMA have all lowered in rank since 2019, with Eren and Armin each being pushed down 2 ranks, and Mikasa being pushed down 3 ranks.

Related to the prior point, this is the lowest that both Armin and Mikasa have ranked in a tumblr poll.

Erwin Smith has also been pushed back down to #8, where he initially ranked in 2015.

This is the first poll where we actively encouraged promoting among multiple platforms, likely affecting the outcome more than the previous years’ polls. 

We may host one last poll sometime after the anime finale in 2022 if there is enough interest. :)

Results of the 139 chapter poll still hasn't been revealed. Not sure if the snk poll team forgot about it or the poll will be open for the future generations? Also, I found that many people have changed their opinion about the last chapter after reading the latest pages. So maybe a new poll should be started?

I promise we didn’t forget. It’s more an issue that the write in doc was 1300 pages and the person working on the one word description and charts has been swamped at university. 

We’re almost done. Hopefully this weekend.

And yes, a second mini poll is in the works to cover the content in the new pages, so stay tuned for that.

SnK Volume 28 - Chapter 114 Major Character Ranking Poll

Hey everyone!

As promised, I am back with another ranking poll - to see how the results shake out now that Volume 28 has come to its explosive conclusion.

As a recap, here are the results as of Chapter 112:

People liked the extra questions last time, so I've decided to continue with the practice. I've included 3 new bonus questions this time around - again, just for fun. Note that these are optional.

- Where would the sorting hat place you? (Question suggested by @momtaku )

My hypothesis: Reiner fans Gryffindor. Eren fans Gryffindor or possibly Slytherin - although I expect Jaegerists to fall into Slytherin. Levi enthusiasts Hufflepuff?

- Cats or Dogs?

My hypothesis: For some reason, I expect Mikasa and Annie lovers to also be cat people, while Jeagerists might be more likely to prefer dogs? Idk, prove me wrong. lol.

- Favorite Avengers character/group? (Question suggested by u/_puppet_)

My hypothesis: I really want to know if psychopaths people who like Floch (or more-recently, Zeke) intersect with people who like Thanos. Because reasons >.> (Yeah I didn’t include every possible option because that would be nuts.)

The purpose of my Major Character Ranking Poll is to follow the popularity of all major characters over time, not to rank only the characters that appeared in a certain volume or chapter. For this reason, the list of characters should remain mostly the same across polls - even if a character has been dead for more than 30 chapters.
