Service dog SY & LQG

Borzoi SY—Okay now I knowwwe what you're thinking. Borzois aren't the best fit for a service dog but I need SY who behaves when he and SJ are out, doing his duty properly and all... But the second they get home he's such a little shit, he's aloof and the switch is funny.

German Shepherd LQG because I mean... I think he'd be one...

Anyways SJ and YQ reunite (they knew each other as children, they stayed in the same hospital ward as kids and kinda just stuck together. Yue Qi eventually gets discharged before SJ and canon typical angst happens except it's a modern au so as SJ gets older he can piece together why his Qi-ge "abandoned" him.

Anyways so they meet in the streets, like out of the blue and eventually YQ convinces SJ to meet with him for dinner or something and it's so cute and eventually they go home (probably to YQ's place, if he knew where SJ lives he'd be sending flowers every day) together and since the service dogs are off duty they have a chance to interact normally

Imagine Qingge's surprise when that tall elegant dog he'd been seeing each time his owner would go meet the man that made his heart rate spike turns out to be a gremlin. The silliness is so infectious he finds himself play-wrestling with Yuan and YQ is like woah, that's the first time Qingge has ever played with another dog.

Of course! I love this au so much!

- Bruce loves to fetch and play tug. He's a very athletic dog and loves to work, and because he doesn't get to protect the farm much, that's how he burns excessive energy

- Clark is usually his playmate, but Bruce loves to play with Martha and Jonathan as well

- they both make morning rounds around the property to make sure nothing or no one got in at night

- Bruce is scared of thunder. It sounds too much like gunshots, and he always hides under the bed or sofa

- Clark barks at random rocks. Especially if it's green

- he also gnaws on every pencil he can find. Jonathan needs to hide them when done doing crosswords

- Clark is a cloud of gentle fluff but he will kill a fox or other predator if it tries to sneak into a coop. Bruce will just chase them away

- Bruce's favorite snack is a cucumber

- Clark's favorite snack is whatever Bruce is having

- they have a talent to find random, abandoned puppies that they insist on adopting, so over the years, Kents' Farm got like 12 dogs

- once Kara is adopted by the Kents, she can do anything to them and they won't protest. Clark often ends up with his fur braided with bows while Bruce wears a princess crown or tutus

- they tried to make a puppy of their own at least once

- obviously it didn't work

- Bruce goes everywhere with his toy bat, while Clark carries around a plush cow

Edit: I added mc dog cuz inspiration hit me. She’s a wolf dog cuz nothing screams laboratory experiment like unethical dog hybridization right? Also wanted her to be “different” from the rest of the boys. Also I think it would be hilarious if the boys had a large wolfy girlfriend.
