I Guess I Got a Little Jealous(Colin Jost)

Colin wasn’t really the type to get jealous. Sure, he didn’t always like seeing others hanging around a little too close, but he respected you enough to keep things quiet when he saw something like that. Typically, he’d just walk up, and introduce himself. He doesn’t add in that he’s the boyfriend, or anything, he just remains polite. After meeting whoever was attempting to grab your attention, he’d casually ask to speak with you privately and just talk to you about it.
Today, however, was different. He had been filming for SNL, and you had popped in to watch. Although, he hadn’t seen much of you at all. You had been with one of the staff members who worked behind the scenes. He had talking to you all day, and showing you around, introducing you to everyone. Colin hadn’t been bothered by at it first, he was actually happy you were getting along with everyone nicely, as this had been his second home.
It had started to annoy him when you ditched him, last minute, to have lunch with that same guy. He was unable to talk to you again, as he had to finish working, but you stood along the sidelines. With him.
“What’d I do?” Y/N huffed, sometime later, as they entered the house.
Colin doesn’t say anything, he only makes his way up towards their bedroom. You continue to call after him, staring at him from the other side of your room, by the door. “Do you love me?” He asked.
“Answer the question, Y/N,” he demands.
You fold your arms, “Yes I do. Now what’s-”
“Then, why were you talking to him?”
Eyebrows furrowed, “What?”
“That guy,” Colin turns away to remove his tie. “From work.”
“Manning?” You look at him still confused. “Wait, are you jealous? Of Manning?”
“We’ve been together for almost five years, Colin, we’re getting married in six months, and you’re upset because I made a friend at your job? Are you kidding me right now?”
Colin looks at you, your concern has turned to anger. “No, you don’t get to be upset-”
“I get every right to be upset!” You explode, “We’re getting married, Colin! I’d like to think that my soon-to-be husband has a little faith in me!”
“Why were you even jealous? Manning was talking about how much he loved you on the show, that you were the reason he took the job in the first place! We spent the entire time talking about how much he idolized you! He was so nervous to talk to you, I was trying to get him to calm down so he could have more than a two worded conversation with you!” With a huff you storm off, grabbing a blanket from the closet in the hall before returning to your room. “Here,” you shove the blanket into his arms, “You’re sleeping on the couch tonight.”
Without another word, you push him out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
