Niall’s back! His beloved baby, the coed golf tournament, is scheduled to resume this July 28- Aug 1, so he’s doing zoom call ins to sports shows, which is nice because that way even if you’re bored senseless by the golf talk (what me project?? never!) you can enjoy his great looking hair and getting to see the increasingly rare sight of one of our boys’ faces! He tells us it is now “fully sanctioned” and “has the backing of all the major tours,” which he explains (thank you for that) means lots of prize money to compete for (nearly 2 million Pounds) which is rare in tournaments women are allowed to compete in apparently. He says he’s counting the days to being able to play golf again (“March 29 over here which seems like years away all of a sudden,” which tells us that he’s back in London) and that he’s unsure about when touring will be possible but “even if it was in a pub, I’d play a gig, I’d love to just to get up and play a few tunes somewhere with a bit of a crowd and a bit of an atmosphere because we haven’t felt that in a while.”

Meanwhile, a reasonably credible sighting of Harry (“I have just made prolonged eye contact with Harry Styles. I feel... utterly rearranged”) either still or back in LA; weirdly, the person who saw him is a close friend of Danielle Campbell’s (or was once upon a time when it was relevant to us, it’s not like I know if they still hang out) which would just be a funny Hollywood coincidence (well, it IS that) but it coming the day after a multiple Louis-in-Chicago-to-visit-Danielle unseens and stories from 2015 is doing my head in- is the universe conspiring to unDanielle Danielle? Yet another plot twist I would not have predicted!
