Snowflake Day Disasters!

We start the day with a full notification panel. It looks like Micah's boost in skill hasn't led to a benefit at work yet, and he's not the only one struggling! I sure hope everyone can pay their taxes at the start of spring!

As for our household...well, at least Sherita got a bonus.

I had the brilliant idea to send the girls to the winter festival with their significant others to celebrate Snowflake Day, and Christian wasted no time meeting up at the house to head over!

Careful! That pond looks slick! I kept trying to get them to skate together which is not only adorable, but also a want for Wendy...unfortunately, they simply wouldn't! Christian kept wandering off!

Hey! Derick is finally showing up! In robot mode, no wonder he and Sherita get along so well, LOL!

No sooner did Derick show up, than he ran off again. I guess it was too cold for him! And Christian...Really?? You absolutely wouldn't skate together with your fiancée but waste no time skating with Kay!?

What a disaster this date has turned out to be...facepalm...

Thankfully Wendy either didn't care or was too hungry to care. Just some quick festival food and then it's time to go home, both girls were starting to get frigid at this point.

Back home again nice and warm. Wendy showered before bed and Sherita stayed up late into the night watching tv and playing video games. Not exactly the fun double date I had planned, but both girls seemed to be content, so I guess I'll still call it a win :)

Just some bonus pics! I love the detail in all the houses here! I like to think that little boy in the snapshot on the mirror is a nephew of one of the girls.

Also, at some point Wendy and Christian must have taken photobooth pictures together somewhere because I found these in her inventory and had to put them up!

While I was playing I noticed the sound of flames in my ears. I couldn't find a fire on my active lot, not to mention that you get a notification or something like that when it actually happens, so I checked the neighbors and see there.. apparently my neighbor's christmas tree caught fire :D
