𝐀 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫.

𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇; 𝘌𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢 got caught by her sister, Daniela, after killing some innocent people from the village. And now, she's facing her own consequence.

“If i ever heard that horrible words of yours again, i swear i'll cut your limbs and slice your jugular just to dump it with worms!” the youngest Dimitrescu voice boomed at the village.

Clearly shocking her dearest cousin who could hear everything from miles away, “I promise— i'm so sorry, my lord— please f-forgive me!” the old man keep begging for Eliza to let him go after she took his eyesight.

She doesn't let any words fall out from her mouth except throw the old man far away until she heard a perfect crash from it. She scoffs then wipe her hands as she decided to go back to the castle.

“What a waste of time.” she groans internally.

Diedre who keep watching the scene from afar with the other villagers can only sighs then shake her head, “That was perfectly unexpected.”

“Uh, Lady Diedre?” the young Beneviento flinch then focus back on the person who is handing her the silks she buy a minute ago. “Oh right the silk, of course, thank you— Matias.” she smiled at him then excuse herself from his shop.

“Adorable.” he mutters at himself as he lean on his knuckles.

Okay, Back to Eliza, she is now standing face to face with her tall mother and sisters that clearly showing some dissapointments and sadness towards her. Just from those glowing golden eyes — staring at her tiny emerald one.

“I beg for the explanation here?”

Cassandra snorts, “Don't act like you don't know little one, you've been quite wild for these past few weeks.” Daniela can only shut her mouth, “Hunting by yourself out there is clearly not cool at all. Let's just say, you've gone too far Eliza.” the youngest Dimitrescu slightly widen her eyes.

Bela cross her arms then lean down to take a closer look at Eliza who begans to trembling.

“Tell us the truth, little sister. Is it you that who has been ... Killing the villagers here and there, especially man-things?”

Eliza swears she could see the anger in Bela's eyes, as if it's going to explode in a second. She open her mouth to say something to answer or defend herself, unfortunately, nothing came out.

So she just stand there, looking at her family is going to punish her just like what her cousin warned,

“i suggest that ... You should stop or hold yourself without them knowing anything for what you've done— just like me, before one of your sister know about killing the villagers.”

Diedre soften her gaze when she saw a clear rejection from her cousin. “Very well, don't say that i didn't forbid you, cousin.” with that, the former young lord left her in snowstorm.

Eliza can only ducked her head in shame then nod her head as a yes, “I knew it, though you're the one who's being obvious since that day.” Daniela scoffs at her little sister then look at her mother who is trying to keep her patience.

“How many did you kill?” Bela asks her again, “I— just hit one hundred today...” she answers immediately, not wanting to take these conversation long enough. “Did you kill them all by yourself or with Diedre—”

Bela got cut off when their mother lose her patience.

“Elizabeth Dimitrescu, i did NOT expected you to behave like that— I NEVER told you to kill the villagers except an intruder at MY castle or the maids who didn't do their job! from now on, you are NOT allowed to leave MY castle until i order you to GO out myself. Do you understand!?”

Eliza felt so, so, oh so small when Alcina raises her voice at her. She wanted to close her ears, but she know that she's going to make herself more ... Punished.

“... Yes, mother.”

Who is she to deny the Lord's wish? None. Eliza couldn't help but helplessly obedient to her family, she couldn't protest like Diedre nor defend herself like Kaleb always did.

So many negative thoughts started to drown her mind between the reality she's facing. Until Diedre's crow land on her head, “What in the world—”

“I'll keep you a company.” Diedre whispers with husk tone.

Eliza soften her gaze then let the crow fly away again, leaving her to the angry Dimitrescu family. Well, no matter what, she's going to face the consequence just like Diedre. Or maybe worst than dearest Cousin.

“I, Elizabeth Dimitrescu, did something horrible behind the scenes for years - and for that i must face my fears.”

A dragon may be strong and powerful, but she is not like her mother. And she will never be.

• Seeing that she has changed, starting to be more confident, able to think more clearly, and always being careful in making decisions that make you even more afraid and hesitant to do it.

• but as usual, the tone she always uses will always make you calm and more confident that you can get through it.

• taking a deep breath and then exhale slowly, you decide to talk as usual and then make the most beautiful flower crown for her.
