What would've happened if Theon actually had the chance to go join the Night's Watch at the end of "A Clash Of Kings"?

so jon wouldn't have been there when he reaches it, and i think he'd be bitchy and whiny and trying to curry favour and take control to make up for his wounded pride at winterfell. i feel like he could fall in with alliser thorne and janos slynt, or make his own ragtag crew of rapists and murderers that he thinks are funny and goes to mole town and does not respect his vows and sexually harasses satin. by the time jon snow arrives back, i think a) jon immediately kills him after learning about all that happened and gets in major trouble b) jon is so disgusted by theon he defects BACK to the wildlings (crazy lol) c) jon understands that the wildling threat is too important and that he will deal with theon later, like he could use his skills as a bowman in the battle.

after the battle and stannis taking control, i think stannis could use the punishment of theon as leverage to garner jon's support, the same way he does with winterfell and legtimisation and lordship. and i think jon being given the option for revenge would sway him more than the option for winterfell, but he'd still say no.

theon would fall in with alliser thorne and janos slynt i think, mostly cos the other factions would dislike him. i don't think he'd like bowen marsh, i think he'd want to get in with denys mallister but denys mallister is too ironbornphobic (justified in theon's case LMFAO) to accept him, and cotter pyke is 50/50 i think he could have a ironborn to ironborn connection with theon but idk i think he'd HATE theon for being a pompous little lordling who is ironborn only in name. so its janos slynt for theon. once jon becomes lord commander, i think he's either keeping theon where he can see him (friends close enemies closer, which lord commander snow fucking LOVED doing lol) or might send him away to eastwatch just so he doesnt have to see him anymore. and if he gets sent to eastwatch, ramsay intercepts the caravan and steals theon away LOL. destiny will come for theon!

but if theon stays at winterfell, maybe he can prove himself to jon somehow. maybe after seeing jon behead janos slynt he gets the kick in the nuts he needed. maybe he begs leave of jon to find bran and rickon and prove that they are alive, maybe he gets the secret out of sam somehow in his desperation to prove himself innocent (still killed those kids tho). and then you can have him going up north to bloodraven (maybe bloodraven sends him some visions... maybe theyre euron related.....) or going off to rickon and somehow meeting up with davos and wyman and wyman is fully trying to kill him. assuming the boltons still take control of the north.

and maybe theon and jon can frot a bit idk

in the last few weeks ive come to look deeper into greysnow and thought i see the appeal i think they would be TERRIBLE for one another the only reason they stay together is because theon wants to be close to the starks and robb, and jon because he doesn’t like new things and is like well, at least i wont be suprised when he disappointes me. they been together since jon was 19 freshly broke up with ygritte and theon was living on the streets after ramsey. theon hasnt had contact with the starks for 3 years after stealing catelyns scent candels (theon got busted and this was catelyns last straw) jon took theon to his flat and after some time they got into a relationship, at the first dinner at the starks everyone was suprised, not only because theon used to bully jon and his friends in school and they never got along, but also because they live together since jon was 5 and theon 10 so everyone things it’s pseudo incest. ned nearly cryes and asks himself what hes done wong, catelyn is like not my problem, arya is heartbroken and tryes to get them to break up, robb is trying to stay happy for them but he is suprised. they stay together for 8 years. at robbs wedding everything comes to an end because of an argument of them, but during theyre relationship booth just wanted the acknowledgment of robb. the sex was unsatisfying short and always followed by silence until on of them started to cry over disappointment in theyre live.

GREYSNOW WEEK || Prompt: Arrows

So, I've written something for the first time in months. Not too sure what this actually is at the moment, but I sure as fuck won't question it 🤷🏻‍♀️

They’re left alone in the yard, Theon and the little redhead. Robb, Theon repeats the boy’s name in his head. He looks to be about five or six years old, with huge eyes and a lot of freckles all over his nose. A bit too young for Theon, but the boy is the lord's oldest son, so he’ll have to do. For a long moment they stare at each other.

“Come, I’ll show you Winterfell,” the boy – Robb – declares, shuffling his feet. He looks excited, as if he can’t wait, and despite being tired Theon shrugs and follows the boy out of the yard, and into another one.

There’s a gate in that yard and Robb leads Theon through. After a few paces they come out – into the strangest place Theon has ever seen.

The ground is covered with moss, except for a footpath that Robb skips down, not looking back. He doesn’t notice that Theon isn’t following anymore, that he’s rooted to the spot, looking around in awe with his heart beating loudly in his chest.

There are trees everywhere. Big trees, with thick crowns that let almost no light filter into the grove – Theon swallows, a chill running down his spine as his gaze falls on the tree in the middle of it all.

It’s big, gigantic even, with blood-red leaves, the white bark as pale as the bones washing up on the beaches of Old Wyk. In the middle of it a face is carved into the bark, as red as the leaves, as if it is leaking blood, and Theon shivers.

This is a place for different gods than the one Theon knows, gods that fit the man who all of this belongs to, dark and cold and frightening.

“Theon!”

The boy’s – Robb’s – voice rips Theon out of his thoughts. He looks for him, finally spotting the curly red hair next to a pond, under a few blind dark windows. Robb is bouncing up and down, waving at Theon to come over.

Theon squints. Next to Robb another someone has appeared, a little smaller than him, with dark curls tumbling around a pale face. One of the lord’s other children, Theon muses as he cautiously walks over. Robb said he’s got a few siblings.

This must be his sister, Theon decides as he comes closer. The girl looks nothing like Robb, more like her father, and Theon hopes this is not the one he’s going to have to marry.

It had been his uncle Rodrik who’d said it, whispering urgently to Theon’s mother as she sat there crying, painting a picture of what Theon's life would look like in the lord's castle. He’ll be treated with honour, the uncle had said. Lord Stark has children of his own, and mayhaps one day…”

His mother’s sobs hadn’t ceased, and Theon had stopped listening after that, suppressing the urge to cover his ears. He didn't want to be treated with honour, he wanted to stay at home.

When he reaches the two children, Theon gives the girl a closer look. She’s wearing boy clothes, just like Asha always does. Dark hair, dark eyes boring into Theon’s, her mouth forming a small pout.

“This is my brother, Jon,” Robb crows, gesticulating wildly. “Jon, this is Theon. He’s going to live here.”

Oh, a boy. A younger son. Theon gives a half-hearted wave, already losing interest. Still, can’t hurt to be nice.

“I thought you were a girl,” he says with a grin. “You have hair like one.”

Robb’s hand flies to his mouth to hide a giggle, and Theon grins wider, satisfied with this reaction. Until his gaze falls on the other boy – Jon – uh-oh. Theon’s smile fades when the boy glares at him, the dark brows gathering over his eyes, glittering with – is that boy crying?

Theon frowns, confusedly opening his mouth to ask what’s wrong, when suddenly the boy turns, running away along the path, and out of the Godswood before Theon can say a single thing.

“Oh no,” Robb says, his shoulders drooping. “Jon is weird again.” He sighs, gathering something – a small cloak, Theon realizes – from the ground, dusting it off. “I’ll go and look for him. "Are you coming?”

Not waiting for an answer Robb marches away, and with a shrug Theon follows. The other boy will calm down again, and then they’ll start afresh. Or not. Theon doesn’t really care either way.

Kind of wish grrm had sent Theon to The Wall because it would've paved the way to possibly the sickest shipname for him and Jon (Snowjoy)
