NEW VIDEO ALERT! ⚙❄🧜🏻‍♀️ Winter swims are not a smart idea and I don't suggest trying it- you could die! That said... I don't always do the smartest things. Therefore, expect to see an ATTEMPTED winter swim on my YouTube Channel tomorrow at 3pm EST (link in bio). . I didn't plan to swim in Lake Michigan last Sunday, but it happened anyways. I was doing an icy steampunk-ish mermaid photo shoot with my family down at one of our favorite beaches when the lake decided to completely soak me. Since I was already soaked (but still quite warm), I figured "why not swim the shoreline?" And so that's what I attempted to do, and THAT'S what you'll get to see soon enough. 😅 . Would you believe me if I told you that this was an unedited SCREENSHOT? Yeah. My @canonusa EOS 90D is a BEAST of a camera. Goodness gracious I'm still blown away by the quality of this camera. And my 50mm lens from @upnorthcamerastore makes for even juicier content (thanks for suggestingthis one!). 😍 . Since we FINALLY got snow, I decided to follow the ongoing 4 year tradition and film this year's winter mermaid video content. For this year, I went with a Goth Steampunk warrior type look (?). For this look, I used my new choker from @killstar my dragon corset from @punkrave.ch and my gifted sword from the awesome @enchanted_knights And... I used my Longnose Gar skull necklace too, which made the look, I think. Basically, I took the steampunk "gears and ears" look from earlier this year and blended it with my "swordfish mermaid" look. I call it the "Winter Warrior!" . I cannot wait to edit all of the footage and show it to you! But until then, you can see last year's "Winter Queen" mermaid video this coming Friday (link in the bio). .
