Calloused winter,
crystalline eyes,
your shining disposition shows
through sheets of stiff and solemn snow.
Our parting footsteps surely tell
of warm encounters and
dim farewells.

Man I love the snow. There is just something so magical about it. If you haven't had a chance to check out my new blog post it is a special snow message from mother earth. Link in my bio @jessalittlemore And this is my first time skiing ever! Can you believe it. Big shout out to Rasa @rasawillis for teaching me to cross-country ski. She was such a patient and supportive teacher that made me feel like I could fall on my butt as many times as I needed going down hills and gave me the confidence to sit low and ride the momentum. #earthmessage #snowpoem #blog #earthmedicine #healing #stillness #liveinthenow #gowithin #raiseyourvibration #youaremagic #spiritualentrepreneur #spiritualbusiness #soulpreneur #spiritualladyboss #inspiredwomen #freedombusiness #findingyourfearless #lifelessons #ski (at Trillium Lake) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bty9tjfBuCK/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=14bxnfwg611rc
Snowy Days
“The snow falls like feathers each morning day, giving me the feeling of calmness of Snowy Days”

Bentley
Crystal shards of liquefied glass
Litters the world in white.
Leaving little girls to wonder
If they rinsed shampoo out that a.m.
When the flurry hits their hair.
These dewy drips of freeze,
They fly in fury to the earth,
Seeking to hide the hideosities
That come with winter.
As if we are too naïve to understand
The difference between death and glitter.
I hear a snowflake is a star,
“Catch one” they say…
But hold it in your hand
And transparency on skin
Looks nothing like Bentley’s etchings to me.
