i, admittedly, have not been keeping up with the books. (i think the last one i read was... veil of shadows, i think?) or the fanbase for that matter. but a quick skim of a wiki page tells me that i am not as canon-divergent as i believed. i've known about this kintype since... ooough, i think late 2018? maybe 2019? it's kinda funny, actually. its almost 2024 and my most identified with kintype is from warrior cats of all things (even if i don't have very many memories from it) and to top it all off, im a background character first introduced in a book from 2010 until the authors decided to make me relevant again about 10 years later. how bizarre, i never thought this day would come. (even if i am... rather late.) oh well, suppose thats one way to get me to read the books again. - snowtuft
