items are stored in regular captchalogue cards, which are put in an enemy when you go to retrieve something you have to kill the enemy your item's card in stored within in an over-the-top manner to retrieve said card

if there are no enemies around, a dummy appears with the item's card inside

Even ran into some pieces where you did gore of Fuuta, and,, I'm generally straight up repulsed by gory art, even just mildly bloody sometimes, and yet I'm not when I saw yours? Like, I hid the screen with my hand so I only see glimpses of it around the edge as I scrolled down to see it, slowly took my hand away to see more, fully expecting I'll just immediately rush to scroll up, and,,, I didn't get grossed out? Like,,
