"But why would she kiss me like that if she didn't like me?!"
Well that was a fair point, Sunny gave her friend a sympathetic look as she watched Taeyeon pace back and forth. They had been rambling out what had just happened at the Jung sisters party.
Jessica had suggested a game of the classic, spin the bottle.
"We are all adults, we can have fun right?" she had said after downing the last sip of soju left in the bottle and placing it on the coffee table.
With all of their friends tipsy enough the game was going fine. Most of the kisses were silly little pecks on the corner of the lips or cheek. Maybe a forehead kiss like when Jessica's spin landed on her sister Krystal of course. But otherwise things were still tame.
That was until it came to Tiffany's turn. Taeyeon felt herself both hoping and dreading for the bottle to land on her. She and Tiffany were really becoming close friends but she didn't want to come on too strong. Especally after Tiffany's still fresh break up.. but maybe that was why she acted how she did. Nichkhun was at the party with his pals after all.
Maybe that was why when the bottle landed on Taeyeon, Tiffany gave a giddy squeal of happiness. She came over with all the fanfare of a show about to be preformed. The giddiness from her washed over all those playing the game and even drew in people from the outskirts of the game who were just vaguely watching. Tiffany was nothing if not a brightness that drew in attention.
Taeyeon felt her entire body warming with all the attention starting to be placed on her. How could she get out of this when it's something she wanted? Sensing the tension when close enough Tiffany whispered a flirty, "Don't worry Tae, I'll take it easy on you," before leaning in and capturing her lips in a tender kiss.
Taeyeon's eyebrows rose but her eyes remained shut, this felt better than she had thought it could, but she was reminding herself not to want more, this should be ending soon... but it didn't.
In fact, it grew deeper. She felt a nip at her bottom lip and couldn't help but part her own slightly, giving enough of an opportunity for a warm tongue to glide across her lip. She had to fight back a sound from escaping her as the sounds of their friends making cheers quickly drew her back to reality.
And almost as if the moment never happened, Tiffany gave her another peck before pulling away completely.
""You have such soft lips Tae." Who says that after you kiss?!" Taeyeon yelled before flopping down on the couch besides her best friend.
Sunny patted her friend's head in a soothing manner, "Well.. I suppose we will just have to ask her and find out then huh?"
Could you write a holiday scenario with seohyun (snsd). List 1 prompt 10 where seohyun is the one particular about decorations and reader doesn't care.
SNSD’s Seohyun / Holiday Prompts
10. Person A is VERY particular about decorating, Person B just wants to have fun

♡ Tip Jar♡
“No wait, not there!” Seohyun’s voice rang out behind you, and you sighed, pulling down the mini wreath and turning around. It was a phrase you were getting used to hearing. “I have four of these, I want to wait to see where they would look best with the garland.”
“The what?”
“The green garland that I put on the stairs.” She pointed to one of the boxes and you nodded slowly, allowing her to take the wreath from your hand. The two of you had been decorating since the early morning hours, since it was her day off and she’d wanted to get as much done as possible. After pulling out a surprising amount of boxes (when had she gotten all these decorations?) you were tasked with helping her decorate each room. The only issue? Your decorating style was much different than hers.
“So the garland goes on the stairs?”
“Yes, and then I weave the blinking lights through it. Oh, and I put some garland on the mantle. But the garland that goes on the mantle is a bit thicker and it came with the lights already put in, so that’s how you can tell the difference.” She placed the wreath back on top of the box that you’d taken it out of and pointed to the writing on the side. “See, this box is last.”
“Ooh. Okay.” You bit your lip. You felt bad for messing up her system, but you were so used to just having fun when you decorated that it was hard to remember to read the boxes. This would be your first Christmas with her after the two of you moved in together, so you had still had a lot to get used to. “Um, what should I do then?”
“Want to help me put up the garland? Just like, fluff it and make it look cute. I already put the Christmas candles and the stocking holders up there, so just weave it through them.”
“Got it.” You gave her a salute and she laughed, sitting down near the tree.
“Do I sound like a sergeant?”
“A little bit,” you admitted with a grin. “But if it works, it works, right?”
“Right,” she said, “but just tell me if I get too demanding. I can get a little carried away since I like things to be perfect.”
“It’s okay.” You picked up the garland (thick with lights already in it) and headed to the mantle, determined to do your job right. “I catch on quick.”
The next few hours were spent listening to Christmas music as you waited for commands, not daring to touch anything in the boxes until Seohyun told you to. The house slowly began to transform, looking the same as it had in past years. For the most part, you were fine with letting her tell you where to put things.
But as the boxes began to disappear, something in the “tree” box caught your eye. It was a string of lights shaped as snowflakes, and when you pulled it out, you were struck by inspiration. The lights would look adorable in the kitchen, and you knew the perfect place to put them. For a moment, you debated with yourself before standing up and heading into the kitchen. Oh well, it wouldn’t hurt to try, right?
After you were done stringing them up, you stepped back and smiled. You’d known it would look cute. There was the perfect nook in the ceiling above the island cabinets, and now it looked like it was snowing with the little blinking lights. It added a nice touch to the otherwise quiet kitchen.
“Babe?” Seohyun called from the other room, and you took a deep breath. You really wanted her to like what you’d done.
“I’m in the kitchen! I just tried something, come look!”
“Okay….” She sounded unsure as she appeared in the door from the hallway, but as she walked closer, her eyes widened. “Whoa.”
“So I know these were supposed to be for the tree. But since the new tree already has lights, I thought I’d see what they looked like in here.” It was a silly thing to be nervous about, but you waited with bated breath for her reaction. Much to your relief, she began to smile.
“(Y/N), I love it. Those lights look so cute there!”
You let out a sigh of relief. “Oh thank goodness, I was so worried you’d hate it.”
Seohyun wrapped her arms around you. “I love it, don’t worry. I’m sorry for being so particular today.”
“It’s okay!”
Shaking her head, she smiled. “No, our decorations should be a reflection of the both of us. I realized earlier that I was being too stubborn. So why don’t we decorate the tree together, your way?”
“Really?”
“Really!”
“Awesome!” You grinned happily. “Can we use that glitter stuff you put inside the ornaments on the tree itself?”
She stuttered, her eyes widening. “I-I…. I don’t think that would-.”
“I’m just teasing you,” you gave her a quick kiss, laughing when she huffed and playfully swatted at your arm. “Come on, we’ve got a tree to decorate!” Her style would take a little while for you to get used to, and it was the same for her. But that was nothing that couldn’t be fixed over time and you were happy nonetheless. After all, you had a wonderful girlfriend and a wonderful house. What more was there to want? “I might accidentally break an ornament or two though.”
It hurts to see someone you have fallen in love with move on.
It hurts to see someone you have fallen in love with happy, but not because of you.
It hurts to see someone you have fallen in love with living the perfect life with someone that isn’t you.
It hurts when that person is now living that perfect life with someone else, because you messed up and didn’t take your chance when you could have.
And now Taeyeon was hurting, because she just saw you getting married to another girl, who took her chance with you when she had one, unlike herself.
Taeyeon has made many mistakes in her life. Everyone has. But her biggest mistake was not treasuring you when you were by her side, through everything and truly hers.
You were strong, brave, fearless. Yet assuming a heavy destructive rain taeyeon chose to stay afar. For she were the restless soul and you the tranquil rain that could set her calm. Yet she never was. Hungry for more. Always.
<flashback>
“Tae, I’m back!” you had called out to your girlfriend when you stepped into your shared apartment. Upon hearing no response, you decided to go and check if Taeyeon was showering.
When you opened the door of your room, you got the worst surprise in your life. Lying on the bed, bare of any form of clothing, was Taeyeon. And there was another guy on the bed, naked as well, lying by her side. Your arms stopped working, and you dropped the things that you were holding in your hands, waking Taeyeon and the other guy up in the process.
When Taeyeon saw you, her face turned was one mixed with confusion, guilt and sadness. “Y/N, I though you were coming back late today?” she said quietly. With a cold voice that sent shivers down her spine, you replied, “I decided to come back early to give you a surprise. Guess you gave me a bigger one, you whore.”
“Y/N!” She shrieked as you left the room and slammed the door shut. You didn’t even bother with you belongings as you walked towards the door. Just as you were about to walk out on Taeyeon and everything that you used to love for the past 2 years, she grabbed your hand and stopped you from leaving. You turned your head to look at her, seeing her tear-stained face. “Don’t go, please” she begged you. But you shrugged her hand off your arm, before replying, “All I did these past 2 years, staying by your side through all that you went through, being there for you when you needed me, all of that, was worth less than a one night stand? Well you can go and screw all the men you like because I don’t care about you anymore. So was a night of pleasure worth losing me? Well, I don’t care about your answer anyway.” Just as you left your shared apartment, you turned around one last time and said, “Goodbye Taeyeon, I won’t come back, ever.”
<end flashback>
And that was the day that Taeyeon, that wild perfect girl of yours made the biggest mistake of her life.
She didn’t see you for years after that day, until a few days ago, when she got a message from her bestfriend Tiffany, that you were getting married.
So there she was, standing a safe distance from the ceremony, watching the person she loved with all her heart get married to someone else. It was a sight that smashed her heart into one gooey mess, but she knew that there was nothing that she could do because it was her fault that the girl marrying you wasn’t her.
So instead, she pulled out her phone, and scrolled to the bottom of all her sent messages until she saw your name. With shaky fingers, she typed her message and pressed the send button.
A few minutes later, she received a message, saying that you were able to meet her for a drink the next day. Surprised that you actually answered her, as the last time you actually replied to a message from her was years ago.
<the next day>
The next day, Taeyeon met you at a cafe near her place. When you sat down in the seat opposite her, you said, “This used to be the cafe that we always met at in the past.” Taeyeon looked at you with a shocked face, replying, “You still remember? After all these years?”
After taking a sip from your cup of coffee, you slowly lifted your head to look at her, and replied, “Taeyeon, I may forgive, but I won’t ever forget.”
A/N: This is the first scenario that I have ever written so please comment and give your feedback.
Character: Yoona (SNSD)
Word Count: 889
The first thing you thought when you saw her step out of the house was “How does she always look so perfect?” Wearing nothing fancy and dressed up in simple casual clothing, Yoona still managed to look beautiful and breathtaking.
When you realised that she was waiting for you, you quickly offered her your hand, which she slipped her hand into and the two of you set off towards the amusement park.
Upon reaching, the two of you took in the sheer size of the amusement park, with Yoona exclaiming, “Yahhh, it’s so huge!” Seeing Yoona so excited and happy made you feel happy and contented as well.
The first ride that Yoona wanted to try out was the roller coaster. As the two of you were queuing up for your turn on the roller coaster, your chose to watch the people taking the ride first. As your watched the roller coaster go up and down on the sloping rails and swerve around from side to side, you felt Yoona’s grip on your hand tighten, which prompted you to pull her closer to your chest, and reassure her that the ride was going to be fun and be perfectly safe. Your words seemed to make her less nervous about the ride and she gave you a sweet smile in return.
Soon, it was time for the two of you to get on the roller coaster. After buckling the safety belts that prevent you from falling off the ride, you felt Yoona’s hand slip into yours and grip it tightly for support. Just as you turned to look at her, the roller coaster suddenly started, and accelerated incredibly quickly. You felt Yoona’s grip on you tighten even more, if that was possible, and when the ride suddenly shot downwards due to the rails, she started screaming, much like the other people taking the ride.
When the roller coaster finally halted to a stop back at the platform where the two of you got on, Yoona’s vice-like grip on your hand released and your hands could finally have blood flowing to them again. When you turned around to ask Yoona how the ride was, she literarily squealed and asked to take the roller coaster a second time. When you told her that there were still many more rides to try out, she gave you the puppy-face that she knew you wouldn’t be able to resist.
After a few more rides on the roller coaster, you and Yoona finally went on to the next ride she wanted to try, which was the ferris wheel. After queuing for a few minutes, the two of you got on the wheel and it slowly started to turn in a circular motion. When the carriage that you and Yoona were in reached the top of the wheel, you could see the entire surrounding area, which was breathtaking.
After getting off the ferris wheel, Yoona spotted one of the tents that had games that could be played. When the two of you reached it, your found out that it was a game that required you to use a water gun to shoot a target for a certain amount of time, to make a bell ring. If the bell is rung, you could pick one out of many prizes. Just then, Yoona spotted a Rilakkuma plush toy that she really loved, and wanted to try and win it. However, when she used the gun to shoot the target, the stream of water kept going upwards and to the right. Seeing that your girlfriend was struggling with the game, you decided to help her. Using both of your hands to guide her arms, you slowly moved her arms downwards and to the left, so that the stream of water was now hitting the target, which caused the bell to ring.
After collecting her prize, the Rilakkuma plush toy, she turned to face you and gave you a sweet peck on the cheek, thanking you for helping her win the prize, as you knew how much she wanted it.
After spending around an hour trying out more games and rides, Yoona suddenly turned around and asked, “Jagi, can we get some cotton candy?” Before you even got to reply her, she had already started to do aegyo to try and make you do what she asked. Knowing that you would not be able to resist her when she did her aegyo, she purposely did the puppy-face again. Eventually giving in, you were dragged to the cotton candy booth by your excited and eager girlfriend, where you bought two sticks of cotton candy, but ended up eating neither because Yoona ate both.
As the day neared it’s end, you and Yoona sat on a bench near the amusement park watching the sunset. She suddenly pulled you in for a short but sweet peck on the lips, before pulling away and saying, “Jagi, thanks for making today so great. I really enjoyed spending more time with you.” After hearing her say that, you pulled her in for another short kiss, before replying, “Anything for you, Yoona.”
As the sun set, you couldn’t help but think to yourself how lucky you were to have such a beautiful and cute girlfriend, and how you would be willing to do anything to keep her happy.

“Today is the day,” Taeyeon said, slamming her hand down on the table in front of her. Sunny jumped at the sudden sound and looked up from her book and Tiffany almost dropped her phone. The rest of the girls looked up from their food, Sooyoung with her chopsticks halfway to her mouth.
“What?”
“Today is Halloween. This is the day we get back at Seohyun for all the pranks she keeps pulling on us.” Tiffany turned off her phone and leaned forward, wary, but interested.
“What are you suggesting?” She asked. Taeyeon grinned, and Sooyoung ate the rest of her noodles, eyes wide in anticipation.
“I suggest that we do something to scare her. It’s Halloween, and its all in good fun. We’ll call it…. The Unnies Revenge.” Sunny laughed and put down her book.
“That’s such a lame name. But I’m in.”
“Me too,” said Jessica, raising her hand a bit. Hyoyeon and Yuri nodded along in agreement.
“What are we going to do, though?” Asked Yoona, leaning back in her chair. “Like, are we going to make her do a haunted house, or…?” Taeyeon put a finger to her chin, thinking.
“I didn’t actually think that far ahead. I was hoping that all of you would have some ideas.”
“Well,” Sooyoung said. “We could fill her hairdryer with shaving cream.”
“You’re just suggesting that because she did it to you,” Sunny pointed out. “Plus, that isn’t scary. The point is to scare her.”
“You’ve never had to clean shaving cream out of your hair and sheets and everything, really,” Sooyoung replied. “Does anyone have any better ideas?”
“Oh!” Hyoyeon raised her hand. “I’ve got one. Remember that old house that nobody’s living in down the road? That everyone says is haunted?” Slowly, the girls nodded their heads. “Well, that place actually belongs to the company my uncle works for. He says it’s not haunted, it’s just old, but he can get us permission to go inside. We could scare her there.” Silence. Then Taeyeon all but dove across the table to hug her. Yoona pulled her food off the table to try and save it.
“You’re a genius, Hyoyeon! That’s a great idea!”
“You almost killed my noodles!”
Seohyun walked in, took a look at the chaos in front of her, and turned on her heel. She’d just eat later.
“Okay. So Yoona will be the one who comes in with her. We’ll say that we’re going in in pairs, and when Yoona brings Seohyun in, we’ll all run around the side and get into position.” Taeyeon pointed at Tiffany. “Tiffany, you’re in charge of the lights. Turn them off right before they get to Sooyoung. She’ll be pulling across the fake ghosts. Hyoyeon is in charge of making it sound like there’s ghosts upstairs since she knows the place the best. Jessica, you’ll grab at her legs. And Sunny, last but not least, I want you to scream once they get to the end.” Sunny nodded her head.
“And what are you going to do?” Taeyeon flipped her hair.
“I already did my part. I wrote a bunch of creepy things in fake blood and got a fake arm for her to step on at the end, when Sunny screams.”
“How does it seem like you got the good end of the deal?” Jessica asked, squinting at the other girl and leaning forward. Tiffany shushed them.
“Yoona just sent me a text. She’s on her way up with Seohyun. Look normal, guys.” Quickly, they all stood up straight and looked around. The other two girls could be seen walking up the small hill towards them. Yoona was waving, and Seohyun was looking around warily, eyeing the house.
“Is this really necessary?” Seohyun asked as they joined the group, giving the house another look-over. “Also, is this even legal?” Hyoyeon winked and gave her a thumbs up.
“My uncle got us permission to be here. I have the keys in my pocket. Totally legal!” Sooyoung leaned forward and grinned at Seohyun.
“What, are you chicken? Too scared to tour an actual haunted house?” Seohyun huffed and crossed her arms over her chest.
“I’m not scared at all. It’s just sketchy. Is it safe?”
“Yep, otherwise they wouldn’t have let us on the property,” Hyoyeon replied. Taeyeon moved them all into a circle and smiled widely, clapping her hands.
“And we got here at the perfect time. The sun is setting as we speak. Who’s ready?” Everyone cheered, prompting Seohyun to join in.
“So, who goes first?” Sunny asked, looking around at the group. Yoona quickly raised her hand.
“I’ll go first! Who wants to go with me?” Tiffany shook her head.
“I don’t want to go first, so not me.” Sooyoung quickly brought her finger up to her nose.
“Not it!” Immediately, all of the other girls put their fingers to their nose. Seohyun was just a bit to slow. “Seohyun, you’re up.” She whined a bit and let her hand fall.
“Of course I am. What are we doing?” Hyoyeon pointed at the front door.
“My uncle told me that he cleared space for us to walk from the front door out the back door. That area is completely safe and set aside for us.” The sun seemed to be setting faster than usual. Seohyun grabbed Yoona’s hand and squared her shoulders.
“Fine. Let’s go, unnie.”
As soon as the front door was closed behind them, the girls vacated the yard, dashing for the side door. Inside, Seohyun slowly closed the door and looked around.
“I can’t believe the lights in here still work,” she said, squinting at the old light bulb above them.
“They keep it workable, I think,” Yoona replied, taking a step further into the house. “It’s still super dusty though.” Seohyung followed her move, and they stepped into the living room. They had barely taken two steps when the lights flickered and died. Seohyun jumped.
“Okay, maybe not?” She could barely see in the darkness, only a bit of light spilling in from the window. “This is dumb. Did you bring a flashlight?” Yoona patted her pockets.
“Just a tiny one. But maybe then we wont step on anything weird.” She pulled the flashlight from her pocket and smiled a bit. She knew exactly when and where to shine it, and she swung it around the small living room before letting it fall on the space on the wall where the wallpaper had peeled away. Written on the wall in what seemed like blood with someone’s finger were the words “Get Out”. Seohyun stopped her her tracks.
“I thought her uncle said this place was safe,” she whispered. Yoona shrugged her shoulders.
“Safe enough not to fall down, I guess. She told me that her uncle is even afraid of this place.” Just as she finished speaking, the sounds of footsteps rang on the floor above them. Slow, steady footsteps. Pacing.
“Is…. Is there anyone else in here with us?” Yoona looked up and shook her head, not bothering to shine the flashlight at the ceiling.
“There shouldn’t be. Her uncle said that the place is empty.” Seohyun’s hand tightened on Yoona’s and she tugged her forward.
“Let’s just get out of here, this place is creepy.” She stepped forward, further into the room, and Yoona’s flashlight flickered. She stopped again. “What’s that? Don’t tell me that your flashlight is dying.” Yoona frowned and shook the flashlight.
“That’s weird. I just put batteries in it too.” That was the cue. From somewhere down the hall to their left, Sooyoung pulled on a fake ghosts, letting it move past the two girls. In the complete darkness, the cloth brushed against Seohyun’s face, making her let out a squeal and jump back, squinting into the dark to try and see what had just touched her. Yoona looked up, shocked by her sudden movement. “What happened?”
“Did you not just feel that? Something definitely just moved past me. I felt it touch me.” She attached herself to Yoona’s arm. “Okay, haha, this prank is funny, let’s go.” Yoona looked down at her, putting on her best scared face.
“Seohyun, this isn’t a prank. I can’t get my flashlight to turn back on.” The youngest whimpered and tugged Yoona forward.
“Let’s just go. Come on.” As they passed into the kitchen, Jessica, who had hidden behind one of the old couches, reached out and touched Seohyun’s leg. She screamed and shoved Yoona further into the kitchen. “Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go.” Upstairs, Hyoyeon was following them, slowly. Pacing. Yoona’s flashlight flickered back to light and landed on a puddle of blood on the floor, and bloody footprints leading to the fridge, and then back out, the way they were coming into the room. Jessica, suddenly getting an idea, moved behind them, out of the reach of any light, and began dragging her feet to sound like she was walking towards them. Seohyun spun around, but she could see nothing.
She stepped backwards once, twice, trying to see what was behind them. Then, on her third step, her foot hit something. Something human.
A blood-curdling scream shook the building, and Seohyun looked down to see an arm sticking out from behind the fridge. An arm she’d just stepped on. The back door was right there, and it seemed like whoever was behind them was getting closer. Desperately, she grabbed for the door and swung it open, tumbling out into the night and dragging Yoona behind her.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, are you guys crazy someone was murdered in there we need to call the police we need to do something. Oh my god, we could have died. What if the murderer is still in there, he knows we saw, he might follow us.” Seohyun turned around to look at Yoona, taking in a deep, terrified breath. And saw that she was trying not to laugh. Her blood turned cold in her heart stopped. “Wait….”
Out from the house came the rest of the girls, laughing loudly and giving each other high fives. Finally, Yoona let herself laugh, covering her mouth with her hand.
“Sorry Seohyun. I lied. We were trying to scare you.” She let out the breath she’d been holding.
“You mean. All that blood and everything. Was fake?” The girls nodded, and Taeyeon grinned.
“That was my handiwork. Didn’t I do a good job? We really had you fooled, Seohyun.” Seohyun let her arm fall away away from Yoona’s and let out a whine.
“I was really scared, you guys!” Tiffany came forward and grabbed her hands.
“Sorry, but you prank us so much, we just had to get you back a bit.” As the girls laughed, a thump came from the house. They all froze.
“Uh, everyone is here, right?” Sunny asked. They slowly turned to look at the house. Another thump sounded inside, and at that, they all went racing down the hill towards their cars, screaming.
A moment later, a man stepped out. As he watched the girls take off down the hill, one turned back and winked at him, throwing him a thumbs up. He chuckled.

“Why would you buy this thing?” Jessica asked as she held up one of the fake ghosts Taeyeon had just brought home from the store. It had been laying between the grocery bags, glaring up at the ceiling, and it just about gave Jessica a heart attack when she went to grab the apples and got a handful of fake hair instead.
Taeyeon snickered as she put up the cereal and shrugged her shoulders.
“I thought it would be funny to scare you with. Plus, what’s Halloween without some spooky decorations?” She asked.
“No,” Jessica said, shoving the fake ghost back behind the plastic bags. “You know I don’t like scary things. Halloween is fine but I don’t want to be scared in my own house.” Taeyeon sighed and walked over to peer down at her new toy while Jessica huffed and walked over to put away the apples.
“So I’m guessing we’re not watching any horror movies this year either?”
“Nothing scarier than Tim Burton. You know this.” Taeyeon’s shoulders slumped and she looked at Jessica for a moment before an idea popped into her head.
“Maybe you don’t like scary things because you’ve never experienced the feeling of being scared.” Jessica gave her a look.
“I’m scared of the things that would scare me. Of course I’ve been scared before.” Taeyeon wasn’t listening. Her mind was already planning.
Two hours later, as they were getting ready for bed, Jessica padded off to the bathroom to take a shower. Moments later, there was a blood curdling scream and Taeyeon almost fell off the bed. Jessica came stomping back to the room and threw the fake ghost at her girlfriend, face flushed in embarrassment.
“What the hell was this doing in our shower? Seriously, Taeyeon, our neighbors are going to think I just got murdered!” Still laughing, Taeyeon picked up the ghost.
“That was so funny, I knew it would scare you.” Wiping the tears from her eyes, she quelled her laughter and looked at Jessica, who was still standing at the door, glaring at her. “So did it work? Do you understand why people like being scared now?” Jessica threw her towel at the other girl instead of responding and stomped off after it landed square on her face. Stumbling to her feet, Taeyeon dashed after her, calling for her to come back.
“So,” Jessica said the next day, hands wrapped around her mug. “Are you done trying to get me to like being scared?” Taeyeon shrugged and blew on her own coffee before standing to her feet and walking back into the kitchen.
“Maybe.” She paused, looking through the pantry. “Is oatmeal and fruit good for breakfast?”
“Yeah. What do you mean by maybe?” Again, Taeyeon shrugged, and began making the oatmeal. Rolling her eyes, Jessica looked down at the coffee in her mug.
She almost dropped it when Taeyeon put the bowl of oatmeal down in front of her.
“Taeyeon!” She jumped up from her chair and whimpered, clutching her mug tighter. The other girl doubled over laughing. “Get them out!”
“They’re fake, don’t worry about it,” Taeyeon said. Jessica looked like she might throw her mug at her girlfriend.
“I don’t care if they’re fake. I don’t like spiders real or fake, take them out.” Still laughing, Taeyeon picked the plastic spiders from the oatmeal. Once they were all out, Jessica slowly sat down at her seat again and ran her spoon through the food, making sure they were all gone.
“So what about now? Understand why I like being scared?” Jessica shot her girlfriend a look.
“No. And I never will, so stop putting scary stuff everywhere.” For a moment, Taeyeon felt bad.
“Sorry. I just want you to like Halloween as much as I do.” Jessica slowly stirred her food and gave her girlfriend a little smile.
“I don’t think I ever will. So please stop scaring me, or you’ll be sleeping on the couch,” she said. Taeyeon clutched her chest and gasped dramatically.
“Well, now that you’re taking out the big guns, okay. No more scary things.” Jessica laughed and stood to her feet, putting the mug down on the table.
“Okay. I’m trusting you.” She stuck out her tongue, making the other girl smile even as she padded past her towards the bathroom.
Wait. The bathroom.
“Jessica-.”
There was a scream, and the sound of something large and plastic being knocked to the floor.
