BACKGROUND: Hannah was born in Los Angeles, California. Daughter of a doctor and a socialite, Hannah always acted totally contrary to what her parents considered right, unlike her twin brother, Donghyun, who is a surgeon.

While she was on a summer vacation at her grandma's house in Korea, Hannah decided to audition for SM hidden from her parents and ended up making it. As a trainee, she was often referred as “SM’s treasure” or “SM’s american princess”. 

In 2007, after 2 years of training, on her 14th birthday, she debuted as a member of Girls' Generation.

• Her younger brother is none other G-Dragon who is only one year younger than her.

• Because of how close her and Jiyong are in age and in their sibling bond, they are often mistaken as being fraternal twins so much that they consider themselves each other’s twin.

• She doesn’t know how to express herself well and is very scared of showing her feelings & emotions.

• Anastasia does not like being touched or any sense of human affection.

• She began to be a trainee with SM ENTERTAINMENT in 1992 as she had been previously signed to the label as a child actress before she became an trainee as an idol.

 • Areum as her former teammates would mention was quite the excellent soccer/football player and it completely broke her heart when she had to quit the sport because it was taking up her whole time with acting and singing. Jiyong had mentioned himself that football was Areum’s whole heart and she had dreamed of being a professional soccer/football/chuggu player if her career as an actress, kpop idol or fashion designer didn’t work out for her.

• Areum has a lot of tattoos on her body, but there is only six that are quite notable for her fans. She has two butterflies in different areas, an angel, a rose on her foot, a heart on her finger and a dragon on her right outer forearm.

• Fans have speculated that her dragon tattoo was in relation to her close siblings relationship with Jiyong but she has denied that numerous times stating, “I get why people would think it relates to Jiyong because we’re close and his stage name is in fact G-Dragon but it has nothing to do with him. It symbolises maintaining strength when I have times where I want to give up but remember to just keeping going through the struggles with implying that it will get better and there is light at the end of the tunnel. It also reminds me of intelligence and grace.”

• Areum hates cucumbers as she has held hatred on the edible plant since she was a little girl.

• As a young girl, she adored to watch movies and learn the lyrics to the soundtracks (particularly Disney ones) and had found that as a successful way to learn English.

• As a result of discovering and her intense love for Disney movies, she pointed out in an earlier interview that she chose her stage name, Anastasia in honour of the 1997 Disney animated movie, “Anastasia” which she had deemed as among one of her favourites.

Kisho blinked as a finger poked his cheek, he opened his eyes and gasped slightly as Tiffany looked down at him with worry. He rubbed his eyes and stood up, grabbing his pillow.

“Sorry,” He bowed softly.

“Why are you sleeping in the laundry?” Tiffany asked, “Isn’t it uncomfortable? And aren’t you suppose to share a room with Taeyeon?”

He fiddled with his fingers and looked around, keeping his pillow tucked under his arm. Tiffany titled her head and smiled, waving softly at him.

“It’s okay,” She smiled, “We don’t bite,”

“I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable,” Kisho explained, “I’m a boy..,”

“How old are you?”

“Thirteen,”

She gasped, grabbing his hand and pulling him out of the laundry. Sunny and Seohyun both looked up at them as Tiffany pushed Kisho forward, the young boy holding the pillow to his chest, his hair covering his face.

“He’s thirteen!” Tiffany explained, “He’s the youngest,”

“Are you?” Sunny gasped, “But your so tall,”

Kisho nodded slowly, “I was born in 1993..,”

“Baby,” Sunny giggled, “You’re so young,”

An awkward smile spread across his face, showing his braces. Tiffany giggled and hugged his arm, pulling him over to the floor where the other two members sat. Seohyun pulled the headband from her hair and pushed it into Kisho’s, pushing the hair from his face.

“Ah, you're handsome,” Seohyun cupped his cheeks, “Are you Korean?”

“Japanese,” He gently accepted the bowl of rice from Sunny, “Half, anyway,”

“What else?” Sunny asked.

“Spanish,” Kisho explained, “My dad is Spanish,”

Tiffany pat his head, “No more sleeping in the laundry,”
