One of my Skype friends and I had the genius idea of creating Naruto and Sasuke sims. Of course, I didn't have all the downloads I wanted when I created them (hence Sasuke's hair), but it was a lot of fun to play them regardless.

Anyway, I had moved them into a custom neighborhood as filler sims while I focused on my main sims. Now, I didn't play them at all in the five sim days (three of which had been spent in China so it's really two days, wouldn't it be?) I've been playing. I also had NRaas mods that:

Sims that are currently not being played can enter romantic relationships at a certain level of relationship points (I had set mine at 80) autonomously. This basically means that while I'm not playing them, they can interact with other Sims and possibly get into relationship without interference from me whatsoever.

Sims that are currently not being played can get jobs. This means that even if I'm not playing them, they can go to a rabbit hole and get a job and earn income. The choice of the job is random, however. Naruto was in the medical career while Sasuke was in business.

So, my main sim had a job in business and needed to get along with his co-workers in order to get a promotion. Luck may have it, Sasuke and Naruto live right next door. So, of course I mosied my sim on over to meet my OTP. They interacted just fine with no issue, until I decided, out of curiosity, to ask if Sasuke was in a relationship.

In the two sim days that I had actually played in the home neighborhood, Naruto and Sasuke had successfully befriended each other to the point where they got into a romantic relationship all on their own.

The kicker is - they're the only Sims who did that in my entire Sims 3 game experience.
