while i love the “len committed murder” idea of ego renegade boy i personally interpret it differently. now i may be projecting cause i was basically in that exact situation when i came out as trans to my parents, but my interpretation is that len never really killed rin, but people are accusing him of murder anyway. cause to me, coming out as trans wasn’t murdering my old self; i was still the same person, just with a new name and pronouns. but everyone treated it like murder. one of the few times i literally couldn’t comprehend what someone was telling me was when my school counselor told me to “give my parents time to mourn the loss of their daughter” because…im still here? im just now their son? i never died, i never killed anyone, and i think that the way that the jury already has their decision in ego renegade boy kinda hits home this interpretation
