Other than Megatron being an elegant bully, what other traits of his character do you find him to be so attractive? Do you think the team of TFA should have explored Megatron’s backstory similiar to IDW or would it be with a twist to fit the TFA storyline?

I like how each Megatron is unique in ways of backstory and such, I like seeing different takes on what their beginnings were. That being said—TFA Megatron’s backstory I feel like is the most ambiguous of them all. You can go many different ways in terms of working backwards to where his determination came from!
He was immediately brought in as a pre-set assumption to what we know who ‘Megatron’ was—the Decepticon Lord and main antagonist n such as it usually has gone. I feel like with that alone (and the almanac mentioning he sent the prev. Con leader into exile. which we doing know about THAT bad blood either) there’s just so much you can do with his character. You have the present, you are left with pieces of a puzzle to figure out what you think led him to where he was at the time of S1.
There’s been too many good tfa takes that pull from other continuities that I rly don’t know if I could say that I wish the writers gave us a more solid path like IDW did or anything. I LOVE the ambiguity because it has made way for so many great takes in fanon!
