Like, not in a super general. I don't often eat bread here. But first thing I do when I'm on vacation in Germany or abroad? I go buy bread. I have bought some sort of Pumpernickel in Venice, in Iceland, in Scotland, just because it's so easy to eat. Like you don't need to think about what you eat for breakfast if you simply buy Pumpernickel and Nutella and you're good for hours. In Scandinavia though I buy Weißbrot and Erdbeermarmelade im Eimer. Because that's what you do in Scandinavia. It's the best.
Here I do prefer the not so schwarz version of Schwarzbrot, like the consistency of Pumpernickel but with more different seeds. Power bread sort of. I lack the name rn.
But yeah. I'm super German as soon as I'm out of my home town /own flat. XD give me bread. It's the easiest to eat and you don't need many spoons to make food decisions.
