Do you know what’s both cute and so heartbreakingly sad though? Yu Mingye’s quick look of shock followed by a small smile when Jun Linyuan calls him his friend. Yu Mingye’s probably not had a real friend since he was a child and his father made him kill his friend.

why do you think sasha is a bad skater? not part of any defence squad i'm just not great at technical knowledge

This is an old ask, but since I’m talking skating, let’s get into it.

Okay, so Sasha Fear.

Sigh.

It’s really rough because I think every aspect of what great, or even good, ice dancers have, she really really really lacks.

A quick breakdown of everything I don’t see in her skating: posture (oh my god, the posture), turn out, pointed toe, speed, edges, surety of movement, open chest, the ability to twizzle without it look kweaver-like, knee bend, ability to match free leg, extension, etc, etc.

It’s sort of just, when I watch her skating, I am actively trying to find something to enjoy and I have never once found anything. Harsh, but that’s my truth.

The posture, for me, is the very glaring issue with her skating that is clear from literally just her getting into position to start the program, let alone before it even begins, and I don’t see it being corrected in time for it to matter considering they are the #2 of GBR and will likely have an all together lacklustre career anyway.
